my son called last night so i am sure everyone in this group got a call, so nice to hear his voice. sad when you hang up though. sally
got a nice phone call last night!
I also got a call 3/3 but I had just got out of surgery,so I was really out of it-did get to hear his voice though,so it was good
Four weeks from tomorrow is graduation and we get to see our guys or gals!!! Can't wait. Finalized all the flights, hotel and car rentals. Anyone from around the area - what's there to do? Got two letters today too - well, one was the survey I had sent. He said it was fun to do and I really enjoyed reading his answers. Think I'll do another one.
I sent a questionnaire as I know he doesn't like to write. He thought it was funny and wanted me to send another. Phone call was too short. I can't wait for graduation!
D loved the first questionnaire too. Made up another one and sent it. At least that way I get my questions answered. But his letters are really good too. I'm surprised because he never wrote letter before.
i was hoping we'd get another call this week , but nothing yet :(
I know-I thought we would get a call also- cant wait for 4/9
my guy called me tonight!!! I was so happy to hear his voice!!! almost PIR!!!!!!!! He said they would call again Thursday for the I'm a sailor!!
I know the call made your day!
I just found this group. I knew about the Navy For Moms, but never really checked it out and joined. I have been having a hard couple of days....actually the whole thing has been hard and I really miss my oldest son...but I think as each week goes by without another call, it gets harder because of the wait to hear his voice and how he is doing. On the verge of tears alot. Like everyone else, I got a call on the 3rd, but nothing since. And, to top it off, only one letter since then, too. That really doesn't suprise me cause he is not big on writing :) Just missing him I guess.... Then, I just read on one discussion board that they all get their wisdom teeth pulled! Really???? Glad I didnt know about that til now! I am so proud of my future Seal. But the 9th cant come soon enough. M. is in Ship 04, Div 808? Just wondering when their Battle Stations might be. Hopefully that call is automatic!
My guy said battle stations is on Wednesday. He said I should receive a call on Thursday between 3 and 4. Obviously that time might change but I think the battle stations part is for sure.
