My boyfriend called me sunday and the previous saturday. But only one letter. I hope I get a call this weekend. I'm glad you have heard from him and I hope our sailors are doing good:)
aww. i got a call the first saturday but that is it. i wish i got one on sunday. :( hoping to get another one soon! he wrote me a letter as well. he didnt date it, but the post mark was march.30th and he said that they were still in their P-days because some of the other guys were messing up a lot... :( but other then that he said everything was okay. god bless our sailors!
Sorry to hear that about you not getting a call sunday. Hope you get one soon. I hope to get one tomorrow that would be an amazing easter present:) My boyfriend said they were messing up and mouthing off but, he said they were all good when they wanted to be. I got my second envelope with letters today. They were dated the 14-17. He said they were holding their mail, which sucks. Its a great feeling getting those letters. I am glad your sailor is doing good and okay. Stay strong for him.
i got a my first letter on friday and a 37 minute phone call today! it was amazing. yeah he told me all about the mail issues. poor guy has a really bad cold. he sounded like death on the phone. :( but he is doing okay. so happy to hear from him again. :D deffinatly staying strong!
Me too except I think mine was only 36 minutes..lol. My bf got 3 wisdom teeth out and had trouble talking as well. It was so good to talk to him. I am glad u got to talk to your sailor:)
Just thought I'd add a comment, because our group doesn't get much action :) I hope the guys have pulled together better than at first and are a real team now.
Me too. My bf is a squad leader and he was getting in trouble because of it. I hope they got some flags because so far they hadn't.
what are flags? and has anyone heard from our men yet? i am nervous that they will get held back a week. i heard that they arent doing well and in his letters he says they mess up alot because there is younger guys in there who are just messing around and dont realize that this actually is riding on some of our guys futures....pray that our guys are doing better!!!!
If they pass inspection, test or things like that they get a flag. At graduation ceramony they will carry these flags. It symbolizes how good the divison is. The more flags the better the Division did. In his letters mine says the same thing. He said they keep talk of holding them back and that scares me because I want this to be over with. I keep them in my prayers all the time. I got a letter monday and tuesday and nothing changed on the divison. This week is "hell week" and lets hope they straighten up.
