Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

OMGosh!! How coooool would that be for them!!! Pizza, internet, phone it would almost be normal!!! LOL I'll keep my fingers crossed and say a prayer!!! Tay did great at the track meet...she has quilified for Best of the West..this is a huge track meet that is between B C D class schools (we are class d) so she gets to go up against so really good compition...she loves it!! She also has Prom tonight so it will be a busy day and that will help me keep mind off of waiting....Judy good luck to your daughter at her Volleyball tournament....those are always fun and great to watch..JUST THINK LADIES ONLY 6 MORE DAYS!!!!! OMGosh!!!!!!!!! Have a good weekend and breath deep!!!
Let's keep fingers crossed for the Captain's Cup- sounds like these boys deserve it! No news from me at ALL- Ben's so ready to be done. Other thsan that I'm having a major fashion dilemma with the pink...so we'll have to see about that! I'll add news if/when I hear something.
Pink is not as bad as other colors! I love Pink and who cares it is for our Boys! I think you can hande it for 1 day! LOL we won't care when we see our Sailors! It will be the last thing on our mind, Honestly! I hope the do good in Captain Cup, They deserve it! I hope we get to hear from them because they got Captain Cup! That would be awesome! My Dilemma is taking Lap top and being at airport to hand it over to him! LOL Oh and the cell Phone! LMAO
OH my son was very angry at some of the Div, He has not been able to sleep much and they are getting the entire DIV in trouble . I know he will sleep probaly at hotel on liberty...... He said he is exhausted! I know our guys will do good they beat their Brother team in BS ..... LOL so lets all just Pray and if anyone knows if Tuesday is BS please let us know Thank you!
163 and 164 passed !!!!! It is getting closer!
I am dev estated I just got a call from my son he failed his running by under 5 seconds! I am devestated I may not be in Chicago on 4/23 He has one more chance Monday and thats it! I am upset and beside my self. My sons feet are barely healing from all the blisters he has I ask everyone to please pray he makes it.... Thank you Cathy ANd I hope your recruits do well in Captains cup! I will be rooting them on.....
Cathy, keep your chin up, we all will be praying for your son until he passes on Monday. The division will get him through this.....hopefully he will beable to let his feet heal some this weekend and they wont do much marching with captains cup and all. Judy (lj1422)

OHHH Cathy!! I'm so sorry to hear about his test..I wish I could tell my Josh to help him and encourage him...I'll say a prayer that they will!!! Does he not get to participate in the Captains Cup?? We will be praying for him and all the boys!!!
He didn't get to participate, he was heart broken! But if he passses out of there I don't care!
Cathy remember earlier I said I wonder if Josh new your son?? HE DOES!! when he called I said one of the moms said their son didn't pass his running test and he said melchor and i was yessss!! he said not to worry he was sure he'd pass on mon. and he'd encourage him!!! SOOOOOO pray and cross your fingers!!! {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}!!!!! Off to take more prom pics!! They all look so beautiful and handsome tonight!!!!
