glad you finally got mail!! :)
Where will your sailors be attending A school?
My husband is a Nuke, so we get to move with him for A school in Charleston, SC. Super excited we'll get to be with him, but not excited that I have to pack up the house and get everything ready to move on my own with a toddler! lol.
I know its getting close and I'm getting excited but somedays seem to take forever lol.
I normally get her letters on thursday so wed always seem to drag out.
I got a couple letters today also i was so happy to get them. All she really said is she misses me and loves me and she is sick not much more. Said she is really tight with the Yeoman cause they are both 31 and work close together as she is the medical Yeoman. Other then that only asked about the dogs. But I do love getting her letters and just reading that she loves and misses me.
Has anyone received any letters from the men in this group this week? Was really expecting something, but the mail just came and I didn't get anything again.
I got a couple of letters from Jp on Wednesday.
Hey DestW, I got a short letter from my son on Wed this week. That's only the second time I have received mail and I have only received one call so far....last Tues. Anybody else getting any calls from this Div? Just curious. PIR is getting closer and closer!

Also, my son is a Seabee and will be attending A school at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri.

Looking forward to meeting everyone at the meet and greet!

Anyone planning on taking more than the 4 people allowed and seeing if they can get it? I have a few more family members interested, but not sure what to tell them. I'd hate for them to make all the plans to get up there and then not be able to attend...
I'm so disappointed I didn't receive mail this week! I have only received mail once and had one call.
My husbands recruiter said not to bring more than 4 because they most likely won't get in but it will just be my daughter and I so we don't really have to worry about it.
Hi guys, Please make sure your recruit has the names on the approved list at Great Lakes before going. My daughter is able to get mail to me each week. I had one call 2 weeks ago and at that time she said she would not be able to call again until after battle stations. So I should get a call around May 1 or so. The list of family members attending PIR must be approved before hand I am pretty sure. Write your recruit now listing everyone wanting to go and tell him to make sure he knows who can come when he makes that call after battlestations. Some times if it is a small division they let more family members attend. And don't forget the valid IDs either. We must have those to get in. I am excited. They will soon be Sailors!!
Well I got a letter today and seens that div 182 is the worst div in the command according to the RDCs which explains why we havent had alot of phone calls. Seems things are improving but very slowly. No word yet on when BS is for them but hell week is over. Only 15 more days till I see her i cant wait.
Hello Everyone, Got a letter from my son today. If my counting is right, looks like their battlestations will be 5/3. Yeah my son talks about how homesick he is and really hasn't acted like it's been too much fun. I'll be glad to see him!
