Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

OMGosh!!! I don't even know where to start!!! First, THANK YOU THANK YOU LADIES!!!!! for all the support and loving thoughts and prayers!!! What a wonderful site this is and what a wonderful set of moms/wives to get to know and get support from!!!! Second, I am going a little nuts..packing, excited, ready to cry, overwhelmed w/ what to get done before we leave, YIKES!!!!!!!! Hope everyone gets some sleep tonight----well try to anyway!!! LOL Again, thank you ladies you are all terrific and I can't wait to meet all of you!! My PINK SCARF is on my purse ready to go!!! LOL
Cheryl....I agree. I don't know what I would do without you ladies, you guys have been great!!! I also can't wait to meet you all. I am more than a little on edge tonight....on the verge of crying at every moment. I have tried to pack but can not keep my mind on it. I am going to try to sleep but have not been doing very much of that lately and doubt tonight will be any different. I too have my pink scarf ready on my purse and my daughter has made us anchor necklaces to wear and she made me earings. I am Navy ready!!!! Have a good night ladies will reconnect tomorrow for our phone calls......
does anyone know do we have to have the parking pass to get on base if we are not driving onto the base??? can't sleep thought of this question!! lol i figured i would print it any way just to make sure!! good luck w/ the sleeping!!!
No sleep here not yet took some sleep aid I think it has a reverse reaction, I AM AWAKE! lol I hope you ladies have safe trips, plz all drivers do be carefull! The flyers like me who are scared of flying just sit back and enjoy the ride I GUESS! That just occured to me LOL I will be ok I hope I can read a book to keep my mind occupied! I took a sleeping pill too, then started packing and now I am WIDE AWAKE!! I am drinking some yummy sleepytime herbal tea. Hope this will help but I doubt it. I just keep trying to picture what they are doing right at this very moment. I can't believe the end is in sight! I am proud of my husband and can't wait to kiss him in just about 2 days :) Ill talk to you ladies tomorrow after our calls. 167&168 in my prayers tonight!

Cheyenna I hear you I am still awake LOL not sure there is a cure for us! LOL just hanging and Praying all make it in both divisions!
Good morning ladies...it is 7:00 am in Florida and yes I am at work...no or very little sleep last night. I want to say I am exhausted but I don't want to because I can only imagine how exhausted our boys are!! Couple more hours for our boys. Will talk to you later....
Hi Ladies.....it's 7:30 or so here in Nebraska!!! and I sleept very little too!!!! I kept waking up and wondering what they where doing and how it was all going!!! I'm lucky I have the day off to get ready to leave tonight...Our flight leaves @ 6:30am tomorrow and we live 3 hours from the air port!!! Did I mention we live in rual Neb.......lol......I'm so excited and nervious at the same time!! Hope the hours go fast as we wait for the CALLS!!! Talk to you later girls!!!
Girls i slept 1 1/2 hr but I am still waiting............ Patience is wearing thin! LOL
My husband took me to lunch and now I feel like I am going to be sick....told him should not eat but he insisted, he called this morning to make sure I have my phone on me at all times and Josh's sister told me to text her when we get the call (Wow she does care!!!) Nerves are shot...emotions are right at the surface....CANNOT WAIT!!!!
Girl I did not eat last night nor will I eat till later and it will be light! It was a sweet gesture, your Hubby just wanted to be nice ...... It's ok we all a bundle of nerves wait till those calls come in, we will just fine! LOL
