Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey Neesha, my husband is currently in boot camp with a plan to be in Charleston for Nuke school by mid-June. I'm a nurse as well - though I'm quitting to be full-time at home with our 2 month-old boy. I'm really looking forward to being in Charleston. How much longer does your boyfriend have? What rate is he (EM, ET or MM)? I hope you are able to visit often! Las Vegas is half a world away!

Hi Neesha! Welcome. I'm graduating from nursing school in two week, waiting for my fiance in Nuke school as well. Im in Boston, so a little closer. That must be so hard all the way in Vegas! Any plans to visit soon?

I was suppose to visit in 8 days but with my schedule as a nurse that easily changed so now i have to wait 6 weeks before i go :(. Congrats on your graduation that's awesome! I am thinking about trying to relocate since its pretty easy to find nursing jobs but i may wait until he's in power school and has to live off base.
