For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

If you have a recruit in this division please let me know. I know that all of us who have someone graduating on 06/11 have to stick together. But it is so nice to know the family and friends of the men my husband is spending all of his time with. Also, I thought we could send letter or cards to each others recruits to add a little variety to their letters. Please let me know what you think!
I know my husband would be so thankful to know that I am getting so much support from his classmate's families. I look forward to talking to everyone on here and learing more. I can not wait until the meet and greet to be able to put a name with a face.

Kelly you're funny. Kohen (our 6 mnth old) and I did s mail dance and still nothing. Let's hope next Wensday or Thursday brings us gold.

Hello everyone. Here is my story - My son started college right out of high school but was too into his band (he is an awesome guitarist) and dropped out. I also think he just wasn't ready for college. Then he started working. He was laid off last year & has had trouble finding a decent paying job. Then one day he told me he wanted to join the Navy to do something meaningful with his life. I had two brothers in the Navy so I was happy but sad at the thought of him going away. He plans to finish his education through the Navy, which makes me very happy. I didn't receive any mail today either. My husband hates for me to check the mail because I get so down when there is nothing there. This site has helped me so much. I want everyone to hear from their recruit, but it does help me to hear from each of you that you are also waiting. Happy Mothers day to everyone! Maybe we will get a call tomorrow.

Well girls, no mail dance going on in my house, what is amazing is Kyle got mail all from his hunting and fishing places but I got nothing. I think the navy is pushing us to our limits. Thank goodness I can come here to you girls for encouragement. Just reading these post makes feel so much better,knowing that our recruits have alot of the same interest. Destinye had a very good idea (give here a shout out). Kelly I do miss Kyle playing football and he took us on a great ride during his hs years. I also sat at many baseball games, My oldest son was a catcher in HS and continued playing Blue Mtn. league while going to Tech school to become a carpenter, They kept us busy!
Well,have to get ready for work,my weekend to work, I'll check in with everyone tomorrow. -

Hi Everyone in Ship 11 Div 212 Families, Moms, Wives, Girlfriends and Boyfriends. My Son is Collin and I have not heard a peep from him. I hope they let him call for Mothers Day. I wrote the moment I got the letter regarding graduation and have sent several since then, including a Mothers Day card for his Grandmother, who has not received it yet. Has anyone heard anything? How they are doing. I have never been separated from him for so long and are at my wits end. Please advise. Thanks. I am so glad to have read all of your comments and notes. It is such a comfort to know that you are out there in Our great country. I look forward to meeting you all at PIR.

I haven't heard anything either, but we still have time. There may be a time difference and remember there are a lot of recruits so it may take a little while. But if not we can look forward to our mail this week. I'm going to teach my whole block my mail dance and let's hope the mail master will decide he likes it enough to send me a letter.
