If you have a recruit in this division please let me know. I know that all of us who have someone graduating on 06/11 have to stick together. But it is so nice to know the family and friends of the men my husband is spending all of his time with. Also, I thought we could send letter or cards to each others recruits to add a little variety to their letters. Please let me know what you think!

I know my husband would be so thankful to know that I am getting so much support from his classmate's families. I look forward to talking to everyone on here and learing more. I can not wait until the meet and greet to be able to put a name with a face.

Good luck Navy Ship 11 Div 212!!!

Hello everyone... heard from Nathan, he is good! sounded very good. Learning a lot, Tests, ropes, guns etc. Wanted his debit card??? something about flags and t-shirts. Anyone else??? My best to all. almost 1/2 way there.
Oh Maria I'm so excited for you. Doesn't it make everything so much better after you hear their voice? I'm curious to know what they're doing this week. I hope I get a phone call too. Is there any web site that you girls have found that break down boot camp week to week?
Hi Kelly, I have been using this web site www.usmilitary.about.com, tells you week by week, they are coming up on the gas chamber week and that looks and sounds awful. I think Maria son is buy the division t-shirt and each division designs there own flag (from what I have read ). When they get there pictures taken I think they can order them at that time. Glad to here from everybody again, guess we all had busy weekends.
Brenda and Kelly, yes Nathan's call was great --short but great-- doing a lot! That sounds right the T-shirt purchase and the flag thing, he was trying to explain but goes so fast, I try to get it all in. I will too visit that website. thanks Brenda. I do hope Kyle is driving Nathan Nuts... something else for him to get excited about! love it. Nate will be going to San Antonio TX, for A-school, we think right after they graduate. not sure how soon. We hope to get a letter this week also.
Brenda you talk about Kyle's girl later in the posts. Nathan's has not yet picked up the letters he sent here (forgot her zip code) I am so sad for him. ??? Boo! Good Night all Blessings to All
Maria, so glad Nathan called, If they are in the gun range my Kyle will be loving that. We all love to shoot clay pigeon and both of my boys have been hunting since they are twelve. I hope Kyle isn't driving Nathan Nuts! I am hoping for some mail maybe tommorow or a phone call would be great. Did he get to talk long or was it another short one? No matter how long I'll bet you were ecstatic. I now am counting the days, till PIR. Maria were does Nathan go from bootcamp? Wouldn't it be funny if they were going to same A-school! Well have to run and get ready for work.... Pray for all our boys and girls to stay healthy and stong.
YAY Maria!!!! I bet you were so excited!!! That I know of you are the only one who has gotten a call today. I'm sure we would all love one. I've gotten 2 so far though so I will not push my luck to much. Did he say anything about the division or how they were doing. I think they took pictures last week. Last time I talked to my husband he said the store there had a ton of things to buy. Maybe he wants to get a few keep sakes. I am so happy for you and I hope you enjoy the feeling for as long as you can.
Destinye, When I have more time In the morning I will explain that banner (it will be on foam board) and throw some more ideas at you. Did you check that web site out www.navystuff.com. I sent for sweatshirts and t-shirts on sunday afternoon and they delivered it today (tuesday). It came from Annapolis Md, what service and very reasonable with there prices. I got to go get ready for work and hopefully have enough time before to write to Kyle. His girl came over this weekend and we both were missing him alot and we are getting anxious but I don't want to jinx anything (you get what I mean). A mom from another divison got a call that her son was a grad n go, I will bawl my eyes out (she was very upset). Talk to you later....
Darn! No letter in the mail today! I sure was hoping for one-well there is always tomorrow, right? I am sure things are going more quickly for them all now that they are so busy. It is hard to believe they are more than halfway through! Hang in there everyone! We are getting closer!!!

I hope someone gets letters today!! Have a great day either way!!
No letters for me today either, but like Michelle said 'there's always tomorrow".
Brenda~ I looked at the site. Can you tell me what you were looking at for decorations on the site? Did you like the little sport style triangle banner???
Destinye, I was just telling everybody about the apparel and how reasonable it was on navystuff.com. I said a couple of post back that when we had a going away party for Kyle we did the theme in blue and gold (Like the navy ball cap they get after battlestations). If you want I can bring blue plastic tableclothes along and I have blue and gold cray paper streamers and I have blue and gold ballons also. Michelle asked if she could help also and I said I could use some containers filled with raw rice or beans to support the banner on the table. I can't bring that on the plane with me.

I went today and got the stuff I need for the Banner it will be about 28 to 30" wide and at the bottom of the ship I will put 2 wooden dowels and these will go into the containers to hold it on the table. It will be above the table like when you have ballons tied to a weight and it hovers above the table . Then if we get the whole group together for a picture we can easily take the banner out of the containers and hold it behind us for a great picture. I was also going to bring the wire garland with stars on it (in gold and blue) but that will set the metal detectors off at airport. Rather than buy all this stuff I have alot of it, it's up to you. I just can't bring scissors and tapes and other things we might need to help put the decorations up with. Let me know what you think and get back to me!
I didn't get any mail today either. Hopeful the mail gods will desend on us tomorrow. Got to go I hope everyone has a good night. Blessing to all the recruits to stay healthy and strong.
I'm finding lots of red, white an blue, not so much Navy decoration.
Got a letter from my Nathan today. Wed. seems to be letter day. I guess they write on Sun. I guess this is "Hell Week". They have to get up at 4 every day and the week is full of tests and inspections and if they do not pass they will get set back in training. He said at this point it is not just about graduating but about graduating on time! He wrote about labs and shooting. He was looking forward to it. He sounded more concerned about folding everything right! He keeps saying how important mail is. He wrote, "letters make the world go round!" Thats about it. Sounds like they are hanging in there.
