If you have a recruit in this division please let me know. I know that all of us who have someone graduating on 06/11 have to stick together. But it is so nice to know the family and friends of the men my husband is spending all of his time with. Also, I thought we could send letter or cards to each others recruits to add a little variety to their letters. Please let me know what you think!

I know my husband would be so thankful to know that I am getting so much support from his classmate's families. I look forward to talking to everyone on here and learing more. I can not wait until the meet and greet to be able to put a name with a face.

Good luck Navy Ship 11 Div 212!!!

Oh my Gosh, Destinye! that is so fantastic! I love the cards!! I think the guys will be so happy to get them. You are so awesome for getting your kids involved and their teachers and classes. How wonderful for your kids to have that kind of support, and of course, for you too! I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps all over just seeing your pictures, so I cannot imagine how moving it must have been for you to read them all-wow! That should really boost morale for all of them, especially for Josh! Way to go-Hoo YAH!~ Tell your kids they are very, very special for completing this project-their daddy will be very proud of them and of all their friends.

Thank goodness you are back on line-we missed you! Only 16 more days to go!!
Destinye,
Tell those children how much that means to our recruits, it is wonderful and so darling of them to take some extra time to let someone they don't really know how much they mean to them. From the moms and wives, girlfriends and grandmas of these recruits give our thanks. I will come on later, I'm doing a new job and I moved to day shift 7-3p.m. so I have got to run, am keeping my fingers crossed that mail will be in the box when i get home today, haven't had a call or mail in over 2 weeks. See you ladies!
Thank your kiddos so much for doing that! That was the most touching gesture I've seen in a long time. You have some awesome kids Destinye. Glad to hear you're back on line - we missed you!
these are so cool. i have tears in my eyes. so special.
Destyne this is so awesome! the guys are going to love them!
Those cards are about the coolest things I've ever seen. I bet they caused every single one of them to smile and that's priceless.
I got a letter today and yay it was finally better. I think he's realizing that the end is so close and if he just tries a littie harder he'll be finished. Did any one order shirts for graduation? I ordered a Navy wife shirt for my and Navy kids for my kiddos. I was just going to wear that and jeans so I sure hope that's dressy enough. Or maybe I can wear them Saturday. What do yall think? I found out josh isn't a grad-n-go, but he doesn't leave for school until June 26. I wonder if I could stay a little longer. If we'd be able to visit for a few extra days. Good to talk to yall, I'll probably be posting a lot since I've been off for so long. Love you ladies.
Music to my ears that you received a letter! Now, hopefully that good kharma is spreading like wild fire. : ) Still waiting to hear something from my boy, it's been a long time. Those cards that your kids put together are really special. Thanks for doing that! As for what to wear on grad day... I haven't even thought about it. But your idea sounds great. ~Abbe
By the way, where is Josh going for A school?
Glad to hear that Josh is sounding better. I'm sure if he's finally over the cold/flu he can't help but be in betters spirits - not to mention less than three weeks until graduation!!!! Can you believe it? I bought a dress for graduation. It's not fancy or anything. I've looked through a lot of pictures and I think anything goes.
Kelly, glad to see your back too. I think I am going to wear black capris and white and black nice shirt and a black sweater to either drag along in case i get cold in the grad hall. We are treating it like a regular graduation, and he is going to be in his best so I think it is the least we can do (it took 81/2 long weeks for them to get the honor of the dress uniform) so I will respect that. I might change to something else when we get back to hotel according to what he (Kyle) wants to do. Have you heard anything from Kelly? I haven't even got mail since the 13th. It is starting to worry me (although I Know what they say), Kyle must be trying to stay focused and wants to do his best and just doesn't take time to write. He has stamps and, I sent self addressed stamped env.. and still have not received anything, seems like alot of the other division moms got calls again last week and still only one call from Kyle (May 10). I just need to hear his voice to know what is up and some of the questions I asked in letters to be answered. I sound like a whinning mom but I just would like a little communication!! All I can say is maybe tomorrow there will be some mail!! When I got done with work today (it was hot 94 and humid)I quick flew home to see if mail came and was disappointed again. The letter I write to him next is going to let him know I need at least 1 paragraph just to know that he is still alive in GL. Does anyone feel the same way I do!!

I should sign off as WENDY WHINNER !!! But you all know it is Bren
Brenda,
I'm wearing your shoes. Same communication (or lack there of) that you have received. It's been since May 10th a call, and two letters following. I'm married to my cell phone waiting for that 847 area code to pop up. Sigh .... Haven't been home to check the mailbox today yet but I'm in California so takes a little longer. The antipation is making me nutty. : ) I'm hanging in there though. ~Abbe
Abbe, I don't know about you but I really hate how those shoes are starting to pinch. After all I sure your not asking your son for a novel, we just want some answers. I am happy for the moms that are getting info from there recruits but it is disheartening when you get nothing and still sit twiddling your fingers. The only reason Kyle might not have written is because of Hell week. He is probrably trying to make sure everything was perfect on the mark and by the end of the days he is to exhausted. The last (2) letters i received came on a Thursday, maybe the mail gods will dance in the box tomorrow and I hope the same for you. Talk to you later! Bren
