Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Anybody's baby girl go to BC on June 15?
Would love to talk to anyone in the same boat. :). I'm just so lost. I'm used to her being gone--she ran around all the time--lol, but I'm not used to not being able to talk to her anytime I want. So worried for her, and can't wait to hear from the recruiter about what division she is in, and what her address is. She gave me the "I am here" call, and told me she would get to call in three to five weeks. SO looking forward to that, but NOT looking forward to the box of clothes. Not sure I can handle it in my current state LOL. What makes it even worse is that she had her 21st Birthday the second day at BC. Poor baby.
How long does it take to stop crying? lol

Hi yes my daughter went to boot camp on the 15th june she is on ship 14 i got her box back on the 19th and her address on the 18th june from the recruiter so have already sent letters and told everyone i know and she knows to write her. She called on the night she got there and was only on the phone for 45 seconds said " im here, wont be able tocall for 3 weeks" and when i opened her box she had written on the flaps, she said " hi im tired not slept for 48 hours, miss you guys and its "very intense" and message for boyfriend". It is weird her not being here but I am used to here always going to camps every summer when she was younger and going to stay with her best friend in another state for a month and since she turned 18 she is always at a friends house for the weekend so i think it is easier for me, but dont get me wrong i do miss her!!! But this is what she wanted and there is nothing for her to do in our small town. I am so proud of her. I know she will do good and she is a very strong person but of course boot camp is a very different animal and listening to everyone telling their stories and watching videos i am sure that it will not be easy.

I called my daughters recruiter tonight, he said he had the letter on his desk to be mailed. I made him open it and read it to me LOL! She is on ship 06, Div. 939. I hear this is a good thing! I'm not really looking forward to the box of clothes, but I'm guessing it will probably be here tomorrow. Thanks for writing back. Lets keep in touch. I need all the help I can get LOL

my daughter is also on ship 6 Div 939, and left on June 16th, one week to the day before her birthday. Got her box of clothes on the 18th, so very hard. Got my first letter yesterday that helped a lot. I haven't gotten over her being gone yet cause she was either at work or home except for the last 2 weeks when she was saying by to all of her friends in other cities. I would love to keep in touch with you. They are in the same division and same grad date too.
