My daughter is on Ship 14 div 270 she got there on the 15th.
My son left on 6-17 also. He got there late that night. He is Ship 14/Div 271. I'm pretty sure they will have the same PIR date. So far, I have only gotten the call saying he got there. :)
How do you find out their ship ? My son left on june 16th and have not heard anything except for his late night call that he had made it .
I called his recruiter and he provided the info.
You can find out their ship by calling the recruiter and they can get it for you or you will get a letter from the department of the navy which mine came yesterday and was mailed ont he 18th and it gives you the address and at the end there is space for the recruit to write a couple of lines and she had beautiful long hair and she said "they cut my hair" so above collar length well she knew they would cut it but!!!!!
My son also left on 6-17. I have not talked to the recruiter but it looks like their PIR will be 8-13. Can't wait to get a letter, the "box", and a phone call!
We received my son's box today, how do you find out their PIR date?
I recieved "the box"!!! My son left for RTC on 6-17. You should all be getting yours!
I do :) My fiance' arrived for boot camp on June 17th. I have recieved one call from him but I have not recieved his "box" yet. I talked to his recruiter today and he said that I can call back on Monday the 28th to get his ship and division number.
Yay! I just got his box but there was no from letter. Hopefully that will arrive soon too so I can know his ship and division numbers for sure :)
The letter just got to me today the 22nd and was mailed on the 18th and she got there the 15th and i got her box on the 18th the official navy letter tells you the pir my daughters is the 6th august and it gives you the correct address to write to and a few lines on last page from your son or daughter!
Did the official navy letter come in the box? We received his box but no letter.
