Okay, here is more :)

26.) He said boot camp is harder than he thought it would be, but still doable.
27.) The hardest part about boot camp is "dealing with some of the guys."
28.) There is one guy in particular that literally cries every time during PT. I don't want to put his initials on here just in case he is one of yours, I don't want to publically display that. But if you are curious just send me a personal message with your SR's initials if I don't already know them.
29.) They have not taken their graduation pictures yet.
30.) They have not gone in the gas chamber yet.
31.) Battlestations is something they don't talk much about yet. It is more "alluded" to than talked about. He does not know the date for that yet.
32.) Same with Captains Cup, they don't even talk about it yet very much. Seems like there are more "immediate" things that they talk about instead.
33.) He is not sure yet where he will be standing for PIR. But, they have practiced all of the "stuff" they have to do for PIR. He said they get to do some really "cool" things when practicing for PIR but didn't say what they are.
34.) By the end of boot camp they will have marched over 200 miles!
35.) Their bed is called a rack.
36.) The bathroom is called the "head" and there are 14 of them.
37.) He is getting really good at making his bed quickly and perfectly and he is waking easily and on time in the morning.
38.) He feels healthy. He said he has lost a bunch of weight and feels great. He wont tell me how much, he wants it to be a surprise. *I am doing the same thing by the way*
39.) The food that he misses the most from home is my home made cheesy potato soup (I thought for sure he would say In-N-Out! I feel special, ha!)
40.) Breakfast is at 0600, lunch is anywhere between 1000-1230, and dinner is anywhere between 1600-1800.
41.) The 20min that they have to eat IS enough time because they aren't allowed to talk so all they do is eat!
42.) I asked if the yelling from the RDC's has increased or decreased since he arrived. He said they only yell when they are "pissed!" but he didn’t say how often that is, ha!
43.) He wants to go eat at Cracker Barrel after PIR (we don't have those in CA and there is one right outside the base apparently, yummie!)

I think that is it :) Some of the questions I have combined on here to make it not such a long list but this is all of it. I already have my next questionnaire in the works. I am going to try to mail it by Saturday. Does anyone have any questions that you think would be funny ones or interesting ones to put on there? I have exhausted the bank of questions on N4M so any ideas would be great. So far I have about 15 questions I think :)

Yay! Your son's name IS what my SR wrote! I only wanted to put initials in my post just to be safe but thank you for giving me his full name, it lets me confirm that it is the same guy and not another SR just with the same initials.
I am so excited to be able to make these connections. And, I am really happy to know that my SR and your SR are friends and able to be there to support eachother through this adventure in their lives.

I'm trying to lose weight too! But I told my Sailor how much I've done so far (-13 lbs as of this past Tuesday). My goal is to hit -20 by PIR so I should be well on my way! I can stand to lose a lot more but meh, just one thing at a time. My guy went in at about 160 lbs I think, a lot of lean muscle, and with a little belly he was complaining about before. I bet it's gone now. Even after only 4 weeks.

Way to go JD's Angel! I have lost 12 since my Sailor left and I hope to hit 20 by PIR too :) Keep up the good work!

My goal's 20 but so far, it's close to 10. Not too bad, though. Losing a pants size would be nice.

I didn't stick around today for the mail but I hope something is in there. Any word about their test and their so called hour phone call? I'd think it would have been given by now if things had gone well....

I thought you talked to him this past week? Actually, I thought our SR's made their calls to us while sitting right next to eachother and then talked about us to eachother, haha! Maybe I am confused??? I got to talk to my SR for about 30min on Tuesday and he said they passed and were therefore able to call home :) He said that only 16 passed the inspection on the first try... but for those that didn't pass he said they would be given a second try within 48 hours. To the best of my knowledge, they were all able to call home last Tuesday :)

That was their scheduled call or something like that. Yeah I got that call where they were next to each other hehe. But I thought there was another call coming. I dunno.... just feeling it today. And my parents are here so they're being doom-and-gloomy about things (not my SR).

Kinda slow right now!! Last letter was dated 14!! That's around 10 days!! Anybody hear anything!! I sent my last letter out Questioniare style too!! Great ideal by the way!!
Just purchased tickets.. prices kept rising!! Staying at same Hotel as the Meet and Greet!! 19th-22nd... School starts the 23rd for my 15 yr. old girl!!
