I started this discussion so we’re able to keep all our thoughts on our meet and greet in one place.

Please share all your Ideas you have for our meet and greet here

*some groups have made buttons; ribbons; worn different color scarf’s ( to identify who you, your division, and who your Sailor is) PIR 8/13/2010 are buying “sailor hats” and each one is decorating their own, I think (I thought that was a cool idea)

*Also if you could please place your name, your SR's first name and the names of who is attending meet & greet with you here, that would be great as well, even if your not attending, I still want to include you in the list below.

The Ramada provides Hot Hors d'oeuvres, but drinks are not included.  Drinks are available, each person will be responsible for their own bar tab.  If you are staying at the Ramada you will receive a couple of drink coupons.

As far as I know, Yes. I'm okay with it as long as everyone else is. I'm sure (I know) I've been in a lot of worse places (with my job and all).
I'm fine with going. i think we just exercise caution when leaving. I mentioned before... no one leaves by themselves. It'll be fine! :)
Sounds great, see you there (very very soon!!!)
Yes I will still be going to the M&G at the Ramada. Is anyone else staying at the Ramada? I've heard to take febreeze O.o

Oh....as for attendance. My hubby is Ray and I (Anya) will be attending with Diane (mother in law) Ronald (father in law) and Heidi (sister in law). :-)
I'm staying at the Ramada! When I called number on the hand out, the said it was one of the better hotels!! Random crimes happen everywhere now days. You just always have to becareful!!
Yeah I'm not worried about the crime. I am POSITIVE I have been in worst positions than anything the Ramada can throw at me.....sadly.

I'm just saying I hear the place smells. So take febreeze. :-)
My husband ( Mike) and I (Pam) are coming in to see our son Ethan graduate but I'm not sure we'll make it to the meet and greet. Our flight doesn't get in until late afternoon. But if we get everything settled we might drop in.
Sorry I won't be going with you all...... :(

GAH! This SUCKS!

You all are going to have a fantastic time, though. I'm very happy for you all!
Well I loved the ribbons! I don't think we are going to make it to the meet and greet either. My mom, sister and my hubby and I are all coming for different parts of the country and at different times, but only one of us is renting the car, so not sure when we will have all been collected! If we can get there without stressing everyone out, we will try.
Sorry guys we wont make it, don't think we will get there in time for it.
What day is this meet and greet? I have been swamped under with finals so if someone could give me the date that would be great. We are scheduled to arrive in Chicago Thursday afternoon.
Hi Debbie,
I believe it is Thurs early evening
