Hi everybody. I was on a little earlier writing and the power went out! Haven't had that happen in a long time. Hope everyone gets their first letters from their recruits real soon. Can't wait to hear when all the letters start rolling in. Maybe by this weekend (I am hoping). Off to bed! Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Thanks to everyone for the friend requests!
Your welcome Janet! I hope we get a letter soon too! I can hardly wait to hear how he is doing and what he is doing. My heart skips a beat everytime my cell phone rings and every time I see the mail being delivered. lol Have a great day!
My son is ship13 division 329, haven't heard anybody else in his division. Trying to make plans for PIR, has anybody book hotel yet? Beth
Hi Beth! You can start a page with your ship and div and see if people join. That is what I did. lol Or you can just stay here with us!! lol I have already made my reservations at the Red Carpet Inn. I saw somewhere on this site where someone else stayed there and they were pleased. (Please don't ask me where because I can't remember where I find most things on this site lol) It is only 1 mile from the base and the cost is $65/night. And I think our sons are in brother divisions. I read that somewhere too! Do a search in groups to see if anyone has already created a group. Hope you are doing well and the days are getting easier.
thanks, did so. created my own group. I am hanging in there. just sent lots of mail to my boy. Cannot wait to get another letter from him. He's the middle boy/man in the house. before he left his dep's were calling him Pappy. I too made reservations at the hotel and for life of me cannot remember where. Its early in the morning. I checked this site before I go to work and after, its getting to be a full time job. got to go and get ready.
Just found out that div 330 is the sister div to my sons 329. If I even knew what a sister div is? But i glad to know it. I come from Buffalo,NY. I am so glad that this site is here. It has answered a lot of questions for me. I also see that all the emotional up's and down's I am having are normal. I thought it was just me.
lol I am not sure what a sister division means either in fact I thought they were brother divisions lol Shows what I know! lol I have been reading about ribbons for PIR! Very interesting!!!!! Hope things are going good for you! Today has been a little rough! But maybe tomorrow will be better.
