I received my daughters kid in the box yesterday...I was so upset that there was no address...BUT the postman came right after the Fedex guy and brought her letter! Her graduation is October 8th
Looks like its possible PIR is 10/1
Has anyone heard about them having their wisdom teeth pulled??????? Why would they do that?????????
Go to blogs tab, then bootcamp forums, then scroll down. There is a blog there about it. It sounds like it is a precaution. It sounds to me like they get the dental exam, sometimes replace old fillings, and remove wisdom teeth that have any potential for problems. This way they are battle ready. Would be terrible to be in a sub, on a mission (or really far away), with major toothache and a crew depending on you, and then not be able to get immediate attention.
Thanks!
I recently was reading on this site about arriving for graduation and all the area hotels and which were the best ones. A lot of good information. Can't remember where I read it at. Can anyone help me out???
Try under forums tab, there is a PIR info section
I finally got my daughters address. Ship 6 Div. 947. PIR date is Oct. 8TH. Does anybody elses son/daugher have the same ship and div?
My daughter is also Ship 6 Div 947. PIR date is Oct. 8th. I have already made hotel reservations

Wow thats wonderful that all of our daughters are together. Lets just hope that they are all doing very well. I booked our hotel also today, hoping that Oct. 8th is her grad. hopefully no set backs.
my boyfriend shipped out from nj august 9th and i received his box of belongings 2 days later on the 11th but my family and his still have had no word on his graduation date or his mailing address.... he called me early morning from boot camp on the 10th for 45 seconds and if i could hear clearly had said he'd mail out the grad pack to his mom with in a week to her and still nothing. and another phone call in about 3 weeks. should we just wait and hopefully this weekend we'll get something??
