I am from Spring/Woodlands area. Your son is in the same division as mine.
Hey txsailorsam--I am waiting for a phone call from my son to ask about yours (if allowed), but haven't rec'd call yet. Wishing you and your son the best!
It's fine. I got to talk to him this afternoon. He sounded great. Has met a couple of guys. One told him that this mom visited with her on N4M. They have inspection tomorrow and a written test Wed. Sam may have 2 wisdom teeth pulled Thurs.. One guy was on watch and missed the call opportunity. Sam felt bad for him. I hope they let him later. What is your son's name? I wish your son well also. What part of TX. are you from?
His name is Adam--I think there is another Adam in this div. I hesitate to say his last name, so tell Sam to ask for the Adam who played state basketball championship in Austin. I'm from Abilene area. I would love the tiniest bit of news!
I usually write him every day so I will ask him in tomorrow's letter. I already sealed todays. have a great night's sleep. The guys have inspection tomorrow and a written test Wed. SF may have wisdom teeth pulled Thurs..

I'm in Rogers (NW AR). He left on the 4th. Glad to hear from you--hope all goes well with your son and I look forward to meeting you! Are you flying or driving to PIR?
We are driving. Going to take a couple of days to do it so we are so tired. I can't afford plane tickets and a motel. lolI also look forward to meeting you. Have a good day.
Hello everyone. I am in Laredo, Tx, about 2.5 hrs south of San Antonio.
Does anyone know if any of the 300's have been able to call yet?
Good mornin' bonniern, I went back over the last few days of 10/1/10PIR and it appears that 1 mom in 328 got a call but then not all the moms put their ship/division in their address. I have not received a call,"No news is good news" is my mantra, but I sure would like a letter. I have sent 2 letters and check the mail box 3-4 times daily. Before this is all over I will have worn a path in the concrete. If you are still thinking about driving up there, I am still interested. I can help with car/van rental, gas and anything else. I love a good road trip. BTW I drove to Maryland last year for Christmas, drove 14 hours one day, about 12 the next. Stops every 2-4 hours for gas and rest so I can do this drive easily. Let me know. P.S. I did not check Leavin' for Boot Camp in August about phone calls. Have a great day.
