lol! your cup of tea comment was good. and of course, i realize that. it was just the edge in his voice and how abrupt he was that unnerved me a bit. i have learned much about all of this in the 5 days since he's been there. a real education! thanks for the optimistic thoughts!!!
tbear48 I see your loved one is in OCS...this thread is for boot camp which is very different from OCS...which is why you're getting confused. They don't send home boxes or form letters. Things there are done very differently.

If I were you (to keep down your confusion and thus your anxiety) I'd stay on the OCS graduate moms group. I think there is a link on Facebook as well. Someone has most likely posted it on you comment wall on your page. Of course you're more than welcome to follow along here but there will not be any info pertinent to your loved one
hi. thanks. i keep thinking that i am on the OCS thread and replying to people who have posted a comment. sorry!! this blogging/chat is new and obviously confusing for me. thanks for trying to corral me in the right direction. haha. you may see me again . . .
Anyone who's loved one got to boot camp on 8/18 hear any news?
Hi Navywife, What's his ship and division?
I don't know yet. I'm still nervously waiting on my info. :( Good luck to you and your recruit!! :)
Your not alone. We're still waiting for the box / letter too. We'll keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow. My kids are ready to tackle every UPS or Postal Truck that goes by the house!!
LOL... my nerves are shot tonight. I hope it comes tomorrow or I'm going to be beside myself! ;)
Hang in there, its out of our control. Let me know if you get it tomorrow, I'll be on line again same time tomorrow. It would be something if we got them the same day with the same division.
Will do! Have a good night! ;)
Yes, please let us know if anyone gets anything tomorrow. I guess who ever gets the letter first, or gets info from the recruiter will be the bearer of the PIR for all of us. I'm praying for all of us, and our babies. Talk with you all tomorrow.
Goodnight.
Should be FedEx to bring you The Box.
