You will....I tore it open, and looked straight to the bottom where they give the recruits 3 lines to write something....then I went back thru and read the rest of the letter.....just needed for feel that connection to him.

Ive been writing to him everyday, I have them all numbered and ready to be mailed out to him not that I have his address.

Hang in there.....I guess its all about where we are located on the map, and how far away we are and how fast the post office works!!
Good Morning! Did you guys see the link Dana posted about the map of boot camp? It's pretty cool to see where they are sleeping!

Hang in there today! One day at a time. We can do this!

I did see the map and I love the ship name...USS Triton!

Hang in there guys, I am really having a weepy day today!
It's ok to have weepy days... I have them too. Hang in there Nicksproudmom! (HUGS)

I really hope I get the letter tomorrow. This "no news is good news" philosophy only gets me so far! I want to hear he's ok from him!!
I saw that. It was awesome.
From Letter came in today.
I was happy happy to hear my baby is still alive.
He said the first few days sucked and will tell me all about it later.
I miss my baby.
Yes! I am so happy to hear that you received your form letter! I'm glad to hear he is okay and sorry that the first few days sucked. The mail hasn't arrived yet here in California....I am totally keeping my fingers crossed!
I DID THE SAME THING! I have been dating and numbering letters to Louis (my boyfriend) waiting for an address and when I got that letter I flipped right to the 3 lines :) that's so funny
Don't know why...but these last few days have been soooo hard....I have been crying so much. Im hoping that when I get his first real letter, and I hear from him that way, that it will be easier....I just miss him so much, literally, my stomach has just been in knots. I wish he'd call....Im going into the hospital tomorrow for a few days, and I hope he doesn't call while Im in there and don't get it....that would just be horrible.

I just feel like this site is the only place to speak how Im feeling and know that other moms are in the same boat as me. My friends all are there for me, but nobody really knows unless you live it.

Ok ladies...thanks for letting me release on here....hang in there everyone....thinking of you all!
@ Nicksproudmom, I totally understand how you are feeling. I've been crying off and on and then when I write letters, I cry even more. I had NO IDEA that it would be like this for me. Your son is in the same division as mine. What is his job? I cannot remember if you told me or not.

BTW, I do like the picture you have posted.
Nicks an electricians mate...Im sorry to hear its been tough on you too...this really stinks!

Thanks so much for your kind post about my pics....I just miss him so much...hang in there!!
