Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

We share in the excitment of your call. They all say different things. I asked Kaleb to tell me something about it and he said "what do you want to know?" Man I bet he wishes he had never asked that! lol I was in a rush because I had to share the call with his dad and brother. We got to talk for almost 27 minutes. Then I heard the RDC's come in yelling. Hopefully we will get a letter today or tomorrow. Kaleb said that he was getting to write more at night. So that either means longer letters for me or letters for someone else. lol Hope you have a great day!
Last night I was too excited to fall asleep for quite awhile. Our call came around 9 p..m. our time (and their time). So I e-mailed the relatives after I got off the phone. He said they are in their permanent quarters now and in phase 2. He had had a cold but pumped the fluids and got rid of it after a few days. Our son is one of the older guys. He said he's studying a lot and doing a "watch" during the night but I don't know how frequently that happens. Have a great day everyone!
Michael also mentioned about the watch. He mentioned he wasn't sure if they had watch during PIR weekend. I really hope they get full liberty (no watch that weekend). Also, he had his wisdom teeth removed at 10:00 AM on one day and they let him rest the rest of that day and all of the next day. It was nice to know they gave him time to recover. He really did sound upbeat about the division and seemed like everyone was getting their crap together. He just sounded so good and already more mature. It's amazing. Have a great day everyone!
So glad they are coming together! He also mentioned they've had some free time cut short on Sunday, not sure which Sunday but it was because of some "stuff" but he didn't get into details. Michael had gone too school for a trade and hadn't found a job. So, he was working at a job that wasn't ideal. It was so good to hear him at peace. That saying, "no news is good news"... well by yesterday afternoon that had worn very thin. LOL So anyway, I feel like my battery is charged again. The mail just came and there's a letter from Michael to his brother. So the letter he sent to my hubby and I will probably get here tomorrow. Yay!! God Bless them all!!
I'm so glad that we got our phone calls yesterday from our favorite SRs. What a treat! P. said that DIV 330 is awesome and that they pull together to get the task done. As a DIV, they decided early on to never get desert out of support for guys who need to lose weight, if they couldn't have it than nobody in 330 would either. P also said that he found it interesting that with not being able to have much personal items/time that he didn't miss Playstation or TV or stuff like that, but that he missed his family, friends, and pets. I got a kick out of his Sunday holiday time, which he described as several hours of ironing, folding, and polishing. He will probably do a laundry in-service for me to show me how to truly do laundry correctly the next time he is home :) And this from a guy who never did laundry when he left three short/timeless weeks ago.
How true Patsmom my son never did laundry either - maybe a pair of jeans and shirt if he wanted it special and I wasn't around but that's about it. Could you please friend me as I would like to ask you a questions. Thanks
I can never wait to get home to check this page! It seems to be the highlight of my days lately! lol We are going through a merger at work and it is driving me insane!!!!!! I am so ready for some time off but I am trying to save all that I can for PIR! I have enjoyed reading what your SR's had to say last night. I just keep thinking about it and how wonderful it was to talk to my SR. Did anyone get a letter today?? I didn't! Last week I got mine on Wednesday so I was hoping for one again today! But maybe tomorrow! Hope you all have had a great day!
No, I didn't receive any mail today. I think my mail day will be Thursdays to allow for the extra time to fly over water lol Will let you know tomorrow. I received my first letter on Thursday of last week.
No mail for me today either. Last week it came on Wednesday. Maybe tomorrow though.
Good Evening to all Just a quick post before turning in for the evening. (early tonight for me as the. last couple of days have been draining) Want to say that all in the path of Mr. Hurricane Earl you are in my prayers. He passed us by (too close for comfort) and gave us a washing but that was about all. Always hate this time of year for that reason. I feel like a duck with all the rain we have been getting. Stay safe and dry.
Mr. Hurricaine Earl needs to back off! We've got people waiting for important letters. In all seriousness, I hope that everyone stays safe - lots of Navy families up and down the east coast.

3 letters today! I about fell over! These were a teensy bit more positive than the last...I am seeing some mood improvement! Just slight...he mentions the PUSH group that they are in trying to complet 8 weeks of work in 6. He also said their RDC's are getting easier to deal with all except one guy (I wont say the name/rank) ...in his words.. "That's because most of the guys are taller than him, so I think he is kind of permanently ticked off" That made me laugh!! More humor coming through in this little stack of letters. Wishes for letters for everyone today!
Wow, MtnMom62, congrats on your 3 letters! Enjoy! I laughed at what your son said about one of the RDCs and height - my son, Patrick, is 6ft. 3in. Oh, oh!
