Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I used to work for a Neurophysicist and a Cardio-thoracic surgeon (and now have typos like a dog typing)
Favorite book is anything by Lisa Jackson, Stephen King, Nora Roberts... I love to read
My husband uses picture/picture on tv and STILL manages to see 4 diff shows during a commercial
I wish I could protect my kids for the rest of their lives money and well being

1. I am a working mom. I have 4 grown children, and 2 at home. 2 sons in the Army, 1son in the Air force, and 1 son in the Navy.
2. My favorite book, hmm that's a good question. I like Stephen King, but lately I have been reading a lot of American Girls books with my 4 year-old, and am really enjoying them :)
3. I can't stand being lied to.
4. I wish I could learn to worry less over the things I can not control.

1. I am very proud of my son for making the decision to join the Navy!!
2. My favorite book is pretty much anything with a good plot but my all time fav is The Stand by Stephen King. It is the first novel I ever read.
3. I can't stand it when people don't get along and it is over the stupidest things.
4. I wish we could all just get along.

I can't stand it when people stereotype others
I wish my son would pass that PFA so I can get some sleep! So proud of him for joining the Navy and sticking with it no matter what!!
My family would tell you that I cry too easily, that I worry too much and I should weigh 98 lbs because I work like crazy in my house and yard and I never stop moving (I'm not thin AT ALL...drowning in the fat end of the genepool). -
