Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hey sailor mom! Glad to hear you got a letter!!!!! I was thinking Hell Week started Wednesday but I could be off by one day! lol Mine has been attending church too! I am looking forward to going with him! What an HONOR!!!!!!!! Did you see where DIV 327 has Battlestations on the 28th??? I think that means that we will go on the 29th maybe!! Glad he is well! Pinkeye and strep throat are going around! Hope the daughter and baby are doing well! Have a good weekend!!!

Okay - now - woo hoo I got mail and lots today. Almost 9 pages (he wrote them over the course of 4 days. He did not mention anything about his bunk mates being ill He did say he had 4 teeth pulled all together on Thursday the 2nd. He said they made sure he felt no pain and that he had bed rest and then light duty for one day. He told me that his bunk mates around him were awesome while he was on bed rest. They woke him up to make sure he took his meds on time and helped him with his folding for the day and all. So thank you all for raising such caring guys. Yes he also said that the RDC's are tough but fair and that they are finally getting it together as a division. He doesn't like some of the food, but says that chili dog day rocks. Misses his mac/cheese and choc. chip cookies I'm guessing. Said his ironing skills still suck but that he is getting by. He sounded so much more positive today. Who's sons/husbands are corpsmen in this division? Please message me. He said that they keep him motivated and focused - they tend to stick together. Our division does rock on. They so got this - Sorry I rambled on so, was so excited to finally get some of the questions I asked him answered. lol -

My son did mention some last names of the corpsmen that he has met but I can't post here as you know which is why I asked you to message me if you would like. I really hope that I can meet the awesome moms/wives that have been my support line here during this journey. You are all so AWESOME!
My son said he ordered the division t-shirts for us. He is too cute. -

Yay! I got a letter. Filled with good and bad. Grrr.
He had to reclassify. Kicks his E4 stats to E3 but he will have better advancement oppts in ATI over AECF which was ridiculously over-manned I guess. Had we known that crap we could have done this 8 months ago. He will have A school in Florida, yuck I will stay here thank you. His school is 21 weeks. So I won't plan on seeing him til March. Grrrr. Good thing we are used to using Skype.
He is fine otherwise and the division is coming together slow but sure. He feels good other than the sicks that keep going around. They moved ships on the 6th. Not sure which one, didn't say.
He said some really funny things that are rated R but funny!!! I about died. So his humor is still there and that rocks! -

I am not a fan of FL, been there and hated it. I was there 3 days out of a 10 day vacation, I left early and went to California for the remaining 7 days. I'm a west coast girl though so I'm biased.

Did the whole DIV change ships or just your hubby???? My last letter was dated the 5th!

my son was AECF and reclassified as well, he went Sonar Tech for some reason, that made his uncle proud, he was one when he we in. but he will go to A school in San Deigo, so i guess i will only have a few hrs with him on graduation. bummer. but at least i have my younger son with me too, we may just have to hit Six Flags.

Hello everyone. I too got my letter today and was SO EXCITED, as usual. He is doing well. He has such a good attitude about everything. He did say he will not be able to call until the 29th (2 days before PIR). That is disappointing. I wonder why some get to call home more often? He also said he is going to A school in Connecticut. We thought it was going to be in Great Lakes. I am excited for him. I know he will love that state as it is even more beautiful than Pennsylvania, where he was originally born. He loves Idaho too, but we miss those gorgeous mountains.
I don't get on here as often as some of you do, but I always catch up on your posts. It's so nice to keep in touch with all of you. Have a GREAT WEEKEND! -
