Not sure but I think it depends on their rate/job...hoping to find out from my son so I'll know how much time I'll have with him that weekend.
Im pretty sure it depends on their rate/job. My husband is a grad-n-go apparently. He said he was supposed to fly out on Saturday morning so we would have the rest of PIR day to spend with him but now he is hearing that he only have 45 minutes with us and flies out the same day :( Its almost more worth it for me to meet him in Pensecola. Even though Great Lakes is only 3 hours away from me lol....hopefully he finds out soon.
I agree! It is totally worth it even if I only see him for 1 minute. My husband will be meeting his son for the first time so im definately hoping to get a little longer than 45 minutes, but if we dont I guess thats ok too :) His A-school is only 4 weeks so it wont be long til he gets home after PIR depending on whether or not there is a wait.
Maybe you can go to the airport and wait with him!
My husband is HM and has 14 weeks in Aschool in GL. But I am thrilled at the idea of talking to him every day and emailing!!! And webcam for the kids!!
I sat by the phone all day waiting for a call. I did have to go to the grocery store. I think it was the fastest grocery shopping trip I have ever made. The night is not over so I'm still praying for the phone to ring. Have any of you heard how the division is doing?
I know how you feel. No phone call (yet) and I didn't even get a letter this week. I'm not sure what is up with that.
These guys must be very busy. My phone just rang and we all scrambled to answer it. I think my heart skipped a beat. It wasn't my son. I just hope I didn't sound too disappointed with the person on the other end. LOL
Haha that just happened to me too! Right now they are probably at dinner. They eat at 645am, 10am, and 7pm Great Lakes time.
How do you know that kind of stuff? I feel like I am in the dark.
My boyfriend wrote it in one of his letters.
my son called last night. finally. he is a grad and go. he told me he may only get to spend 45min with me after PIR. also they have their first PIR this weekend. So next week we can look for any postings of the grad and maybe get a glimps of our sailors
