Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Hi everyone~ I aso got a letter today. It was short and sweet and very positive! I could feel the love this time! Last letters had way too much sadness and a homesick feel. My son also ordered division shirts for us. He said they have US Navy on the front and the ship emblem on the back and everyone in the the division's name printed on them. He said they are really cool! I'm sensing some Navy pride!! He said nothing about Hell week - no mention of it, just that he was testing again for his PFA today and that they had a big weapons inspection coming up that they were all working together really hard to pass. Kat Q...I think our sons may be friends. He gave me a list of friends too and there was a Q name on there. Said the guys were "stoked" because they got haircuts again but they let them keep the top a little longer and only cut the sides. :) Can't wait to talk to him again. You all seem to have so much info on changes and plans for A school and he hasn't said a WORD about it yet.
Michael mentioned in his letter that they were given the opportunity to change their assignment if they wanted, so that might be the reason some will be going to school at a new location. He chose to keep the assignment he went in with and will stay at GL for A school. He was looking forward to going to the firing range this week. He was excited that there were opportunities to earn medals on marksmanship. He mentioned last names of some married guys he's friends with. He was thinking I knew all of your last names, since I told him about this blog. Well, soon it'll be Sunday and another "holiday" schedule for them! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
That drive me nuts! My hubs said he has met some great guys and a few he's tight with now. But he uses last names and I have no idea who they are, lol. I hear first names here and he has last names there so we can't match them! hahahaha, grrrrrr. I have tried and I gave up. I don't a migraine that bad, lol!
Bellaboo2U - if you would like PM me and I will send last name. My son only uses last names as well. My son is so proud of his clean bathrooms. Go figure -
It's great to see the countdown clock is under 20!!! Hope you're all having a great weekend!
Glad you finally got a letter! And that is ounds like things are getting better! Glad you had a good day!!!!! Can't wait to get there either!!!
Yay for you, Jmom!! That's very exciting!! So glad "Hell week" is over for them!!
JMom so happy for you that you received letters. I can't wait either - we are so close but so far away. Our gals/guys so do got this and we will be watching our SR in their proudest time ever. It will also be so nice to meet the ladies that have held me together on this remarkable journey and first steps of my son into his future. Go Navy Moms/Wives we also got this!!!
Good Morning everyone! Hope everyone has a blessed day. Here's to a phone call today!!!!!!! I hope mine calls so I know when to send his contacts. I am afraid that by the time I get his next letter it will be to late to send them and him get them on time. I know it is to late for pictures! Hope he takes those ugly glasses off. lol See you guys after church!
Yes, the teens are wonderful! I noticed they are scheduled for BS on Sept. 29th. So, they'd complete it on Sept. 30th and we'd get our calls then? Are you guys interpreting it that way, too? Wow, talk about cutting it close. I guess that was the expression "push division", my son mentioned. A phone call would be so wonderful!! But I enjoy rereading his letters, too!! Have a wonderful day everyone!
I just watched the BS 21 video. Yes, it'll be so great to get that call!
Anybody get a letter or a call today? Currious to know how 13/330 is doing. So many challenges for our guys this past week. My last letter from my son is so out of date now. Ready for some more news! Hope you all had a great Monday.
