My husband is going to A school in Pensacola,Florida. Do you know when school starts? I don't know yet.
I don't think we'll know until our SR's tell us. I am assuming they'll be leaving 3 or 4 days after PIR? But they could have to wait and spend time in I believe it's Ship 5 while they're in-between.
Any more letters yet? None here - kinda bummed!
No letters here either. Last week I got letters on Thursday (had to be mailed on Tuesday because of the Holiday). That was really quick as we are in Oregon. But the week before the letter didn't come until Sat. so who knows?

I think it really varies on when the SR start A school. Some of them will be Grad n Go and might actually leave on Friday after PIR although Sat. is more common. Just have to wait and see I guess
Well I just got a letter from Eric. I was actually home yeah! He said they have been doing alot of I.t. because they don't follow directions. He said he is doing well otherwise. He wanted to know if I knew a navy mom who last name started with a C. You know who you are and can write me back if you want. He told me the name but I won't post it. He must be good friends with your son. He said he eats well but know weight gain. He looks like he's all bone. He did pass by a few pounds to be able to join. He said not much is new. He never answers any of our letters back, we ask questions but we get nothing back. PS I HATE PUSH-ups.
Glad you got a letter. I'm still waiting on the phone call. Thanks for the info on the pictures. The Navy would make a lot more money on pictures if they would send the info out with the form letter. Chris' last name starts with C. But my name starts with B. I'm still called Mrs. C.... all the time by the kids friends. I answer to both. LOL!!
you should go on navy dads. They post their last names, no big deal there. Everyones last name is shown, why is ours such a secret? Hope you get your call ,ours was last Thursday. Do you know about the time and day for m&g . I hope to meet you ladies soon!
Hey! I just got 2 letters! One dated the 6th, and one dated the 12th. Things are going well for them. He mentioned that they still screw up with right/left turns marching, but otherwise doing very well. He mentioned that last week, they had some problems, but it has now been fixed. The new leadership seems to be helping the division come together much better now, and they are doing less IT and passing tests, and the RDC's are 'more human' now. Sounds like Div 340 is working their butts off, but he is glad to be 'in the home stretch' and can't wait to see us at PIR. I love the way he mentioned that now, looking back, he appreciates all what we did for him growing up so much more! He wants to take us out to dinner after PIR to show his gratitude. I just broke down and cried about that! Then I called my mom, and told her. I remember when I moved out, and was on my own, I called her one day to say those same words to her... and we both laughed and cried over it! He's really grown up so much in the last few weeks! Hope everyone else gets news this week!
OH! and extra prayer needed on Sept 22 for our division! He said it was a very important drill test that will make or break them.... If they don't get this marching thing down for this inspection/test... it could mean problems for PIR. Just throwing that out there...
Hi, my son is in this Division! I just joined N4M. We live in Texas.
Welcome Diana! My son just turned 18 last week and we are from Oregon.
Welcome Diana! We also have a page to rsvp if you're going to be able to make it to the Meet & Greet the Ramada puts on for us. You don't have to be staying there to come - it's at 7:00 pm on the 7th.

Thanks for all the news meow! Your son must be the division spokesman I think! :-) Well, I know how mine likes his sleep, so if they're getting IT'd a lot, he may be opting for zzz's instead of letters. I sure hope thier marching comes together!! Will be saying lots and lots of prayers!
