Judy,
Do you know which airport they fly out of?
No I don't. I am hoping that they will be able to tell us when we get there. I read somewhere that the grad and goes will find out a couple days before PIR which airport, and that we should tell them to write it down and bring it to us at at PIR.
Thank's for the info I will tell him that in the nightly letter I write to him so it makes me wonder can we walk with them all the way to the boarding gate I thought I heard something like this in another navy moms group and I wonder if we could give them their cells to take with them.
It sounds like we can give them their cells, so it makes it SO much easier knowing that now we will have a direct line of communication, :)
I agree I had James cell deactivated so I better get on the ball and have it turned back on and charged.
Erikswifey,
How sweet how old is the baby and is it a he or a she? I look forward to having grand babies some day too and I'm sure I would also want them close so I could spoil them and watch them grow.
she will be 3 months on the 25th....my mom spoils her so freakin bad......but at least i kno she is loved...when we go over to her other grandparents house they spend maybe 10 minutes with her and then hand her back to me
Wifey,
She sounds just precious, I guess all Grandparents react differantly to grand babies and I know it must hurt your feelings but I know your little angel will grow up with tons of love. Are you bringing her to PIR? I hope so I would love to meet you both.
yes i am deffientely bringing her to PIR....i kno her daddy misses her alot....and i would love to meet you as well
Will any of the grad n go loved ones be changing their clothes between PIR and going to the airport, or does anyone think it is necessary?
That's a good question, maybe we can ask on face book if you don't get to it I will try and do it tonight after I get home from work. Is you SR div 331?
Yes she is, and a Seabee. The grad n go upsets me, but not as much as her mom!! I am the grandma. We had hoped to take her back to the motel but now will probably leave a few hours after graduation and let her Mom and siblings spend as much time as possible. Our daughter was the one who wanted to know about changing clothes and I told her I would post it.
