Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Still praying for a call tonight! They eat at 700 CT! So maybe when they are done with their 10 minute meal!
well it 7:15 their time..... I would love to get a call....anxiously waiting for next letter.... again his dad will have to read to me... I had told him couple of weeks ago to mail his last two weeks letters to his sisters here in Fl..... which the last one will prob arrive after we leave to fly to chicago so his sister will have to read it to me....lol... gosh 2 weeks and 2 1/2 days....
Good Morning everyone!!!! We are a day closer to seeing our SRs. I was hoping for a call yesterday but it never came! Maybe today!!!!! Hope you all have a great day! Praying for our SRs and their RDCs. It can't be an easy job training all types of people to become United States Sailors in just a few short weeks.
whew... Finally got finished with work...so I could check in here.. Facebook is so slow I cant even get in... Hope everyone is doing good....looking forward to a letter for this week....guess it will come tomorrow

JMom I got the first letter on Wednesday, then the next 2 on Thursday! But no letter in the mail today! No ribbons yet either! Ughhhhh I hope we get a call today! I was really hoping that letter would be there today!!!!!! I hate waiting all week for Thursday and then nothing!!!!!!! I hope you get yours before me this week! lol
Thursdays has always been my day for letters... of course with me at daughters i have to wait till evening for husband to get home to read them to me... Im heading out to daughters mailbox now to see if she got one he has been writing her each week also. It would be great to hear his voice but I try not to hope too hard so I wont be disappointed. in just 2 weeks I will be landing in Chicago gosh...I have so much to do to get ready... i will have to do alot here. wont leave here to go home till 29th and then fly out early 30th..hope i dont forget anything.
Sailor mom if you forget something maybe we will have it! lol I too have started a list. We need to compare lists so maybe if there is something one of hasn't thought of we will see it! I will be leaving on the 29th driving most of the way and then coming on in the 30th! I am sooooooooo ready!!!!!!
I am so glad you are going! I am not sure why they are late again this week! I was hoping mine was lost in the mail and that you would get yours! lol Maybe tomorrow! I am not looking for a phone call since all the div doing BS 21 will be calling home. I hate to get my hopes up and then nothing comes!!!!! So ready for this part to be over with!!!!!!! lol

Thanks his #1 fan! Maybe so! Did he give any other info about what they are doing and where they are in their week? I am going to get the book that a photographer put together for me from his going away party! I am so excited about this!!!!!
