Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Awwww that is so sweet! Glad someone got a letter!!! They are growing up!!!!!
I gotta letter today! Woot!

He said he passed the second PFA but still needs to pass the 3rd which is coming up. He 5.0'd the weapons inspection and was happy. He loved and had a blast on Marlinspike. He was put on limited lite duty over the holiday weekend but he had his wisdoms pulled. He is still on track to PIR on time so all is good. His confidence level is much higher and his all around attitude was much improved. He was still lovey and sappy as ever (god, i love that man) but is handling things better. He still really misses family and I would too. I miss him terribly. Over all, I am more at ease with him being more at ease and enjoying things more. He didn't mention a call coming up other than the one after BS. So...I was a little bummed but we still might get one this weekend or early next week. Guess we just have to wait and see. *le sigh*
Yes, I also received - a letter from my SR. He sounded so positive and upbeat - I can't stop smiling. He said his division passed their PFA and received their Physical Assessment Flag so he was pleased. Also received a 5.0 on his weapon inspection. He is so proud because he lost 1 1/2" off his waist. Loves the drill marching. He also said again, that the RDC are hard but fair and that they the RDC push them and support them as they do want all to pass. My thanks to these RDC as my son is growing up! I do miss him so and can't wait to hug him. His GF starts college tomorrow and a little sad that her SR won't be there to take her the first day, but she understands. Her family is also so supportive of my SR and the mom is coming to PIR with us. She is not on the list but doesn't mind having to wait to get in. She said that even if she doesn't get in that she will still get to see him and that is all that matters.

Jmom when you speak with Becky give her my love and support. She is truly missed.
I got a short letter today.. said they have been sooo busy .. his dad read his letter to me said something bout how the whole division did great and had a successful week with inspections and all... he said he is really enjoying all the training . RDC assigned him Master of Arms... fussed at him for doing so good... guess they couldnt fuss at him for getting in trouble lol... I did find out he has his acct with nfcu and received his debit card there..... so that was relief... was wondering why i wasnt seeing a deposit in home bank. He did also mention he was looking forward to BS-s .. also he didnt write as much to his gf so i know they must have really been busy (must have been the hell week ).

different ones keep mentioning wearing ribbons... I remember something bout the lady on here selling ribbons... does any one know what they look like.... i dont have time to order anything but could maybe make up my own...

ohh i did pick up mini tide pens today.... lol
Im also on facebook Jmom
Lala Ribbon Queen is the lady that makes the ribbons. I think she has a picture on her page. I am waiting to get mine! I am so happy that everyone got a letter today! And glad to hear that things are looking so good for our SRs. JMom maybe we will get ours tomorrow! lol
that is great... glad you got this....Im totally confused on hell week...i thought everyone said that was last week ....I know the hands on stuff is what my son is enjoying.. My son also has been attending church.. He loves the services..asked for me and his father to go with him the Sunday we are there... means alot...
Thanks Sondra i will check her page again... I didnt see it last time I looked...but maybe i missed it....
Hi All! I got a letter today too. My son's spirits were up and he had great things to report about his achievemnts and those of Division 330! I'm so proud of him. He is very excited about the upcoming training this week and next. :)
sounds like our boys have gotten it together!!!!! I am hearing the same from all the moms... it is a relief to know they are enjoying what they are doing... and respect their leadership
Just a quick questions I am hoping someone can answer. Will there be another chance to buy pictures? My son's bank didn't get his new debit card to him - I had to reorder so I am not sure he was able to order any.

OH and sad me, I didn't get any mail this week yet....I want to say thanks to those who have and are so willing to share what their SRs have to say.....my son never writes more then a half a page anyways LOL.
He should be able to buy them all the way up to the 28th I think. My hubs said we needed to make sure he had the funds in his NFCU acct by the 28th. At least that is what I was told.
Good morning!!!!! 2 weeks and we will have our SRs in our arms..... I am sooo looking forward to seeing his smile and dimples...lol... his sister was reminding me it was going to be hard to spot him with everyone looking same... i just said no once he smiles and i see his handsome smile(dimples and pretty teeth) lol I 'll know... she said mom they arent allowed to smile.... dang it... but surely we will be able to tell. guess that is why ive seen people recommend binocalors...lol ... things are really stressed here with daughters pregnancy... she has an infection (which they claim is normal) that could effect the baby.. some docs do Csection because of this but gosh if they do that they need to schedule it fast so i can help her .. with me leaving on 29th.. with all on my mind I am so afraid I am going to forget something...i need for great lakes.... I dont dare mention any of this to my son he worries so much for his sisters. in fact he had told me before he left. that it was more important for me to be with her delivering baby since her husband is out at sea than for me to come see his PIR... I will go and just come back... .... Please remember her in ya 's prayers along with our SRs ... Thanks... well time to leave for the high risk doc appt....will check in later
