DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ok, so we have sent our recruits some questionnaires, here is one for us. Just for fun and to get our mind of "it" for a few minutes.

1. I am ______(something about you other than your name)_____

2. My favorite book is_____

3. I can't stand it when_______

4. I wish_______

5. My family would tell you I ___________

(BTW - I totally took this from another group.  Proof you don't have to always have a good idea, just need to be able to recognize one when you see it!  lol)

I am a part of something greater than myself and living my dream

My favorite book is The 5 People you Meet in Heaven

I cant stand it when people contradict themselves by preaching one thing and doing another, just be honest with yourself and with me and we'll get along just grand

I wish i lived closer to home and could see my friends and family on a more regular basis

My family would tell you I'm pretty quiet at first, but quite the jokester once you get to know me. I am very laid back and have the striking ability to roll with the punches even though i'm not too big on change (go figure haha) they would also tell you that i am patriotic to the core and the navy and i are a good fit in spite of it all.
1. I am _the second of 9 kids....Grew up in Navy Norfolk...Very likely the oldest mom here :) But I used to win dance contests when I was young in the 70's

2. I just love to read...Mostly Christian fiction...Like the Mitford Series and the Left Behind Series.. I also Love "Piercing the Darkness" and "This Present Darkness"

3. First impressions are often made by how one presents themselves. Bad grammer is a pet peave....I guess that's from having an English major as a mom.... Looking past those less fortunate breaks my heart.

4.I wish there was a place for everyone to lay their head down at night,. Homelessness bothers me.

5. My family would tell you I love to talk, I really love to laugh and the kid in me still lives....I like people!
I love "This present darkness" and "Piercing the darkness" Read them more than once
1. I am in school
2. My favorite book is Letters to Nicholas
3. I can't stand it when people are not real
4. I wish My boys did not have to grow up so fast
5. My family would tell you I am crazy......lol
