Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Thanks for sharing your letters. We haven't gotten a letter yet this week. So, I figure he's studying, etc. in his free time. Soon we'll be done writing to the current address. I'm so glad this piece of the journey is almost over. God Bless all the SR's! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Don't feel bad Maureen, I haven't gotten a letter this week either! If the mail lady is holding it thinking this is funny I might just hurt her! lol I am sure she isn't!! I am just guessing either he didn't write or it is mixed up in the mail. Football game tonight again! Will be back later!
Sailor Mom - how is your daughter? Baby?
yesterday baby still sounded good... daughter is having alot of pressure today... just waiting.... .. Thank you for asking
Yesterday I celebrated my first birthday without my SR. It was a little rough to say the least. But in a few days, I will have the best birthday present ever, seeing my son become a US Navy Sailor. All of his friends posted their birthday wishes on my facebook page - a lot of them starting with HB to our second mom. Made me smile.
awww that was sweet .. yea mine left day before my bday.. but he was at MEPS still with phone so he got to call me
Very sweet of those friends of his! Happy Birthday to you. We are almost there!!
Happy belated birthday Kat! You are so right, it will be the best birhtday present ever to see your SR. Will be like birthday and christmas all in one! It is sweet of his friends to remember! I got a letter from one my SR's friends this week. He is in Marine BC. Was so sweet of his to think of me! Hope you are having a great day!

With as active as the RDC's are in our PIR group, I am hesitant to share openly what I know. PM me or chat me. Its not really a big deal, but it makes things clearer and understandable, I guess.
