Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Should have thought of this earlier but I thought maybe a place where we can list family members that need prayers would be nice.  I personally believe in the power of prayer as many of you do too!

That must be hard. Prayers coming their way.
Sondra, thank you for this - another example how we have all pulled together and supported each other in every way. This is going to be something that will never be forgotten. Praying we can keep the bond as our SRs continue on their journey God Bless you and all our N4M's families and our SR who brought us together.
One of the SR has pneumonia. He is in DIV 946 and my son said he would probably not be able to stay on task to make PIR 10-01. Please pray for him.

just listened to it and it put tears in my eyes. definitely describes how we are all feeling :) i can't wait. today was not a good day and missed my sailor a lot :(
It is easier to give Thanks when things are going well, not so easy to remember to give Thanks when things are harder. Giving Him the Glory!
