For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

from the way my son was explaining it to me it seems it would be the 29th. not known for sure though, just the way he mentioned it in his letter.

i watched it as did my parents and it's interesting and really something else!! i'm so proud of all of our sr's and can't wait to see them march in together as their division!! thank you for replying :)

I did not know what to think when my son said Navy, but the more I learn the more proud I am. Watching the video on BS21 made me feel all proud. I found myself talking about it at work, and bragging about my son joining the Navy. I've been to two Army basic graduations, and one Airforce graduation. I too am real excited to see this one. I bet they will look sharp!

well i saw pics of my gf's fiancees graduaton from end of august and she told me a little bit about it. and she said the rush of emotions and how they look marching in witll overwhelm us in such a great way. she said it's an experience not to be missed!!

I just got mail from my son today. I had sent him a survey to fill out for me. Some of it was goofy (trying to keep his spirits up), but I got a little info from it too. On September 16th they were in Week 5, on Day 1. (So, if I'm counting right, that would make today Week 5, Day 6)
He said the number of recruits left in the division was "70?" (Sorry, not very exact in his counting! lol!) He gave me two answers for what he's most worried about. "BattleStations-21" He wrote one word...pray :-) and "Nothing, I got this!" He said Boot Camp is "Not so bad, Graduation is just around the corner. So stop stressing...MOM." Not much info, but I hope it makes you feel a little better today. -

that helped a lot.... my boyfriend seemed a little stressed about everything leading up to graduation but that they are working hard. i just wrote him stay focused and they'll be fine :)
