Praying here too, I hope I get a letter soon, I still haven't gotten one since 9/13. I sent a couple items out to him today, including questionaire lol.
Prayed again this morning for all our SR's. They are covered in prayer which is the most we can do. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement. Last letter I got was 9/16; hoping I have one waiting for me when I get home. Remember, ladies, no news is good news! I have to keep telling myself that! :)
I don't see anything from our division's brother company (325). Has anyone else corresponded with that group?
Jan I think they have thier own group and not a discussion post here.
I got a short note. Amazing what a little note can do to improve my day.
Got letter in mail today. Question: what does it mean to get your "Sailor Collar"? My SR got is.
Lets get the prayers going for SR's going through Battle Stations today :)....
Im there!
Got a very long letter from my son today. He said battlestations are tonight (Monday, 9/27) at about 11:00 pm and will last 13 hours.

He gave me their schedule for last week: Week 5/Day 3 (Mon) - Drill / PI / DMI / Test 3 / Basic Damage Control Seminar; Week 5/Day4 (Tues) - FEP PI / FEP DMI inspection / Firefighting 1 Seminar; Week 5/Day 5 (Wed) - Gas Chamber / FEP Drill Inspection / Firefighting 2 Seminar; Week 6/Day 1 (Thurs) - PFA Final / Firefighting Team Training (he added a note at the end that he passed PFA final and they have a pennant on their drill flag - he's one of the "stix" and carries the drill flag); Week 6/Day 2 - Test 3 / Firefighting applications.

He said he was very excited and even metioned the RDCs are "pretty cool, actually". (Please keep in mind our kids have studied military style martial arts for the last 5 years so he may be a bit brain washed! lol)

He sent his little brother a letter for his 15th Birthday. He had a bunch of the other SRs in the division sign it and write a short note to him. His brother thought this was just awesome! You ladies have some great sons! I'm glad they're all in this together! Can't wait for FRIDAY!
Thanks for the post...Waiting for todays call....God Bless
Got the call! They passed Battlestations 21! Congrats to all!
We got our call also. Our Sailor was so excited. He told his dad more in this call than all his letters put together. SO PROUD OF HIM!!!
