Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope this discussion is both helpful and fun!!

a push company means they get started later than the average 7 to 8 weeks and push through boot camp faster in order to make it through to PIR at ana earlier date
flag idea is great!

what is a push co...
My daughter shipped on 9.13....her PIR is 11.5.10---did anyone get a letter yet? Just anxious! Looking forwrd to the meet n greet!!!!!
OH GOD!! MY BAD! I didn't see this comment! if your daughter shipped out the 13th, they you should probably get something this week! my apologies on not catchin this post!
Hi Lauren's mom,

Have you heard anything yet?
My son shipped on 9/7 (Tues) and is also Ship 2, DIV 951. I've gotten one letter and the form letter from him, but that's all. Also got the 'kid in the box' without the kid. Hopefully you'll get the first letter this week, if you haven't already gotten one. It's tough, I know...this is my first time, and I'm completely new to the Navy world.
hey! my son shipped same date... same amount of writing... This site is great... and helpful about what they are going thru!
Sorry , I'm always in trouble for my Navy Talk :) NWUs are the Navy Working Uniform, Its a digital blue similar to what the other services wear as a working Uniform. Only we can not wear them in public :(
Also they count the days and weeks as 1-1= first week first day, they wont make it to 8-5 :) as their PIR is on 7-5 LOL
Today is 1-4.
Has anybody in Ship 02/ Div 951 gotten a letter or phone call? I keep seeing folks in other divisions with the same PIR date (11.5.10) who have received both....
I hope all is well for these guys!
Hi lauren's mom! my wife is in the same division and i've heard from her. in fact, i got her box of 2 written letters from her, the PIR form letter, and the insurance papers. i got the first 15/30sec call and one last week. The fact that you haven't received any of the following comes as a shock to me. I was told of this by one of the mom's I talk to on the chat. The best thing that i think of is for you to call the Public Affairs office and see what's up, because that's very strange. Please keep me up to date.
Also, when did your daughter, or son, ship out
Wait wait don't call the public affairs office...if thisinfor gets back to the RDC it will be hard on your daughter...remember they are adults and even though we worry and trust me I worry like the best of them...singling them out by making any kind of calls or writing emails is harmful to them...the RDCs like nothing better than to say "mommy called, or hubby called or wifey called" it cna result in extra physical training, intensive training and simply being embarrassed which adds to their stress...just hang in there...and remember no news is good news no matter how tough that is to hear. I am sorry you are shocked Jersey but lots of folks have not heard from their recruits yet.
I received a letter a week ago thurs. BUT no phone call yet:( My son shipped 9-7-10 ship 02 division 951
I spoke with my Son today"needed more security clearance info" the Div is doing good and all is fine. Things will settle down from here on out if they keep working as a team. Mail was sent yesterday and should be inbound. They are berthing later Divs, in same space. I have four in Boot ATM :-)
