Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

That is a lot of what mine said! lol Oh and he sent me the big manila envelope with letters and things that he wants to save! And guess what was in there! That's right my letters from last week! lol That is why I didn't get any mail last week! lol HOOYAH DIV 330 and their RDC's!!!!!!!! They have been working hard and it is paying off!!!!!!
Nope I had put 3 regular stamps on it and then he put 9 more lol It is a good thing we are coming to the end, surely he is almost out of stamps! lol But it is full and heavy! lol
Ok...so I got a letter! Long and sappy cuz my SR/Hubs is just that way. But he said he gets to call home on the 29th after BS and ceremony stuff. So, I am going to go with that. In fact he stated it twice in the letter on two different days. Really I guess we will find out when the phone rings, lol.

He said they have been "knockin sh*t outta the park!"....that is a good thing. And "Kickin A$$ and takin names". He got his ribbons for weapons and he didn't lose any weight but lost a ton of inches. I guess he gained muscle just as fast as he lost chub. Now my tubby butt is jealous. Oh well, I've lost 14 pounds since he left.

He said they went over how horrible the divorce rate and monogamy issue is in the Navy (as the worst of the branches). Ugh.

He didn't get the right picture package...I told him 3 times in 3 different letters which one to get-THE BIG ONE! *bangs head on desk*

Got his dog tags.

The rest was for these eyes only, lol! Mostly goofy I miss the way you shoo me outta the kitchen, stuff-hahahahha, I always have to kick him outta there, gets in my way and underfoot.
Bellaboo glad you got a letter! I would go with the dates that he gave you! Doesn't really matter since I have my phone with me at all times! lol
Yeah I usually do to, but I don't know if the base (since its a super secure one) will make me turn it off or what while I am there, so I am a bit nervous about it. I think the appt is about an hour but than I have the drive there and back too so really I won't be back for a few hours. If he calls and I am on the road, I will have to risk the ticket and accident to answer, lol!!! Rapid pull off to the shoulder and than gripe about how I cant get reception, lol. Oh man I hope they call later in the afternoon. *bites her new set of fake nails*
Good evening ladies. My God only 7 more days and we will be in GL. Woohoo, I can't wait. I had a very long and emotional day today, but that is another story.

My phone rang early this morning and I didn't check the number, I just answered. I hear Mom, it was my SR. My heart dropped to the floor. I quickly asked if everything was okay. He said yes. The RDC told him to call me and tell me that he had wired the money to his account here so I could buy his older brother's ticket to PIR. (Thanking the RDC). Then he said i love you, have to go. Then in his letter to me today he was so positive. I can't believe how much he has grown up. He told me that the day he received the card I wrote to the division that they were feeling a little blue and that when he read it to them they were all so thrilled and sent thank you, we loved that and those kind of responses to me. Surly made me smile. Ladies we have some awesome young men and I can't wait to meet them in GL.

His last letter (received 4 in the same env.) was dated 9/18. and this was his schedule. Not too far off what has been written. 9/22 firefighting (I saw him in pic), 9/23 gas chamber, 9/24 final PFA , 9/27 final inspections and scuh. BS 21 from 9/28 0 9/29. He also said that Div. 330 are in 1st place and that if they can keep it they will march into PIR first. Hooyah. He said that they have earned all their flags and that they earned the flag saying that they can march alone and sing cadence without the RDC's He said the div. really pulled it together and he is so proud.

Sorry for the long post.
Thank you for your post... and sharing all this good news.... I am also sooo proud of our SR's
I got a letter yesterday too - I called it my birthday present. LOL. He really doesn't write much usually very short but it has always been a chore for him to write so I am not surprised. Can't wait to get a laptop to him so I can get some typed emails then I will know much more about what is going on. He gave me some names.....last only, but he was talking about J who is 30? Said he is a real inspiration and support to him so if J belongs to you - THANKS. I have 3 other last names...one startes with a Q (Kat?? Yours maybe). I am wondering if anyone else is staying at Springhill Suits? I am not sure we will make it to town in time for any meet and greet - I am not leaving Iowa till after 2pm - 6+hr drive....makes for a late night. I am so excited to see my son and to meet any one I have a chance to meet.
Ladies, thank you for sharing your letters. We all love reading these posts so, KatQ, nothing for you to be sorry about. We are really in the countdown now! Can anyone tell me what the captain's cup is?
Hi Brenda would any of the names start with a F
Hi Brenda. We are staying at Springhill Suites. We will not be making it to the M&G either. We do not get in until 7ish at the airport. I want to drive by the base so we know how to get there first thing in the morning.
We need to make sure we get together - I want to get to meet and greet somebody LOL.....I am so excited I can't stand it,
