Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Hi everyone! Wow I'm up really late. I got a letter today too. Pretty much the same news as what has already been posted. Todays letter was very positive. He had great things to say about the division and how they are really working together now and getting ready for Battlestations and graduation. He also earned the ribbon for shooting and was very happy about that as this was the first time he had ever handled a weapon. Said they have all of their uniforms now and they look so cool in all of them. He confirmed that they will be wearing whites for graduation. He also added my brother to his graduation list and my brother will be driving up from DC to attend. Can't wait! It's been great reading about everyone's letters today.
Yea MtnMom You get to see your brother too! I am getting so excited! Ready to go!!!! Just a few short days!!!
just think this time next week WOW!!!!!!!... My hotel Hampton Inn & suites.. Libertyville just sent a reminder of reservation..... wasnt that nice like i was going to forget....lol...Husband is heading down here today so he can be here also when new grandbaby arrives monday (still hoping earlier)...I think he misses me or maybe Lulu (our shitzu) ..lol Everyone have a wonderful Friday
Sailor Mom - how is your daughter feeling? She must be so ready to have this baby. How cool that grandpa will be there also. God Bless all.

I have a lot on my schedule today but don't really want to go out. I want to be one of the first ones to read the postings of our newly capped Sailors. Woohoo! Can't believe we are on the final count down. Prayers are still going out for our remaining SR that have to go through BS.

Everyone have a great Friday!!
Mtnmom62, that's so great your son earned a ribbon! Sailor Mom, maybe this is the weekend the baby will arrive. The baby was waiting for grandpa. HaHa Enjoy your Friday everyone!
Went to Walgreen's at lunch... makeup (check), tide pens (check), Miss Clairol to cover my greys (check), new photo card for the camera (check), Congratulations card (check)... I'm almost ready to go. Getting ready is part of the fun! Everybody hang in there today.
WOW I should have given you my list! lol I want to go this weekend and get my SR a cross to wear on his dog tags. But I hate to go anywhere because we have to drive for an hour at least to do it.
Sondra - I found a good one that I got my SR...at Walmart of all places - it was an anchor/ships wheel with a cross/crucifix over the top - I have my son his before he left but he didn't take it with because he didn't want to lose it....
I will have to go look tomorrow! Thanks! Hey I sent you a friend request.
Ya' know...Our division is kickin butt...so you would think with all the hard work these guys and gals have been doing and pushing through and beating the pants off the other divisions, that they would be rewarded with a call. But NO...nothing. Humph *sigh* I am very aggravated by this.
Maybe they are kicking butt because they are missing us so much! Hang in there maybe this weekend!!!!
This is info. on Captain's Cup. On the Saturday before Battle Stations, all divisions graduating together compete for the Captain's Cup. Captain's Cup is basically a field day, with competitions in sit ups, push ups, running, throwing, swimming, obstacle courses, relays, and more. It's a fun day, and winning the Captain's Cup is a matter of great pride to the winning division.
