For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Yes! My boyfriend (fiance, technically - We just haven't made it official to his parents) is also DIV 323! I'm so glad I finally found someone else in this division.
So I'm not technically a "mom"... But I hope that's okay. I'm going through the same thing, and everyone's support here is really helping me. -

No not at all. I'm hoping what I read was they are going Thursday the 23rd. I'm hoping his wife calls me Friday to tell me he is no longer a recruit ;0)
He is married and with the little time they have to write I have only gotten a couple of letters and one brief phone call. He writes his wife more but no mention from the last letter. (She is really good to fill me in on what he says. Thank goodness) I'm so anxious to know what his orders are, if he is leaving right away or if we get to spend the weekend with him when we are there. I'm not very patient. His last letter said he would know where he was going on the 18th. Did your fiance find out his orders? -

Yeah, my fiance only gets to spend Friday with us, he ships out really early Saturday morning to his "A" school. I really hope you get to spend the whole weekend with your SR! (:

His school is 4 and a half months.. But I'm more or less just thankful he can have his phone, internet, and weekends off! Haha! :)

Awesome! Do you know if we can give them there cell phones after graduation? It will be nice to text and call in the evenings or whenever.

They can't bring their cell phones back to the base. They can only get them if you meet them at the airport, when they fly out, if they're grad & go.. :/
