Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I'm glad they will have a day that is a lot of fun. They all deserve it. It would be wonderful if they won though. Less than a week we'll be at GL!!!
My wish for today - Our SRs kick booty - do so well the RDCs reward them with a call home. My fear for today, I will be working at the game and it will be so loud I won't hear my phone ring.....that is why I am going to carry my phone in my bra - now that is going to be hard to explain to the security guard that has to accompany me on all my money drops LOL - good thing he is ex-marine - he will understand when I say bootcamp call....Have a great day - can't wait to meet some of my support system in just a few days.
Good afternoon Ladies..... I agree with Brenda..... i hope they win the Captains cup along with a phone priviledge......My husband has joined me here at daughters... we are preparing for Monday (since dont seem Addison wants to come earlier). they will be inducing..
Less than one week.....I am getting soooo excited.... we will be spending time with son.. ...

sorry to say I didn't miss a call today because there was none to miss.....but that is OK. The only think on my calendar between me and my son was today's football game....Iowa State won!!! So now it is just getting through my everyday junk for 5 days.....woooohoooooo then off to Chicago
Whoooo Hoooooo!!! Just a few days to go! I have to work hard the next 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) and then heading out to Chicago! We are driving part of the way on Wednesday and then going on in Thursday. I too was hoping for a call but didn't get one. :( Maybe today!!!!!! I just wish someone would get one so we would know who won the Captain's Cup. BS - 21 again tonight! Praying for those on our prayer list and the SRs going through BS - 21!!!!! Have a good day!!
Good Morning Ladies ... left a long comment in main group... so won't bore ya again...lol.... but did want to drop in to say hello...5 days... hard to believe we are soooo close....
Looks like a gloomy day here in fla... cloudy... hope the tropical/hurricane storms stay away from north fla's eastern shores I dont need that also to worry about... its going to be hard leaving daughter Wed.. but her neighbors assure me they will be here to help her with anything she needs....her 10yr old will be a big help and even the 7yr old too...anyway going to get a message to paster to remind him to lift our guys in prayer for BS21... they send out emails to all church family also......will check back little later.....
Oh Sailor Mom no posts are boring! I feel like we have all become one big happy family! lol Hope today flys by for ya. I know you must be anxious to get little Addison here tomorrow. I am sure your daughter will be fine. Such sweet neighbors to check in on her. Enjoy time with grandkids and we will see you in a few short days!!!!!
Good evening ladies!! No call today! The suspense of who won the Captain's Cup is killing me!! lol Pretty quiet weekend here. Trying to get caught up on work so I can leave on Wednesday. I so hope we can all get together while we are in Great Lakes! Who all is staying in GL for "A" school???? Mine is. JMom you are so right, first things first! We have to get baby Addison here and mom and baby home safely. Then BS 21 on Tuesday. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow! Prayers for Sailor Moms daughter and new grandbaby and of course or SR's.

Yes, my son will also be staying in GL for A school. He will be in Corpsman school (God help us) lol
I also can't wait to meet you amazing ladies who have helped me keep it together these last few weeks. Also would love to meet the outstanding young men and ladies that brought us together in the first place our SR/new sailors.
