WASHINGTON — The Defense Department has identified the nine American troops killed in the worst coalition helicopter crash in Afghanistan in four years.
The military announced Wednesday that four sailors were killed in the crash during combat operations a day earlier, along with five soldiers. Three of the sailors were Navy SEALs, while the fourth was assigned to the Naval Special Warfare unit. The five soldiers were from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, at Fort Campbell, Ky.

Lets please keep these families in our prayers as they try to cope with this tragedy and overwhelming sadness.
Lets pray for all the men and women in the service who put their lives on the line for us everyday.
Lets pray for help in trying to understand the Why? of it all.
So sad to hear this this morning. We need to keep all these sailors and soilders families in our prayers.
So sad! Prayers going up for all of them!
I know that all of our men and women at BC right now are feeling home sick, and stressed but I wanted to ask for a prayer for my SR...He lost he grandfather in July (my father acted as a father to my son for the first 12 years of his life, I was a single mother and my parents were there for him so I could work and provide a home) As my son became a man his grandfather became his best friend. Before he left for BC we talked about how he knew he could make it because he would just keep remembering that 60 years ago his Grandfather walked that same ground on his way to becoming a sailor. Thanks
You got it!
‎" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future...Jeremiah 29:11♥♥♥
Prayers for Princeton and his family.
I wanted to put one last update on little Kolten- he is finally off everything, even the feeding tube and he is beginning to nurse a little bit better. If the rest of his week continues this good, he may be home by the weekend as hoped!! Just like our Sailors- coming out of this battle on top!!!
One other prayer request- our nephew Brandon just arrived in Turkistan, to cross the border to Afghanistan tomorrow with the marine division. brandon's job is to drive the fleet truck & ride security for those searching for IEDs.
