SINGLE DIGITS, BABY!!!!!!
Looks good doesn't it...
Tick Tock!!!
Printed out our gate pass today. Have my blue candle ready for battlestations. I am ready to start packing, trying to resist the urge.

Still struggling with plans for taking the girlfriend, she can only come for Friday. Have to figure out how to meet her family and get her back to them on Friday evening. I would like to make the extra effort, as I know it means a lot to our SR, but just can't seem to find a way to make it work. I don't want be selfish, but I also don't want to be driving back and forth from Illinois to central Indiana and feeling all stressed. I would prefer to have a nice relaxing weekend with our SR.

Sorry for turning my comment into a counseling session! I too am feeling the stress and a bit overwhelmed today.
I know what you mean, my son didn't put his sisters on the list to come to graduation and then at the last min. his other people on the list decided not to go. It really is too late for me to make other plans for his sisters. Family situations can be riddled with guilt on either side. But at least we get to go
Honnalora you are the best. Thanks so much for the computor lesson. This next week is going to be so hectic but can't wait to get on that plane ( first plane ride) . This is my only son and this has been a loooong separation and a huge adjustment for me he seems ok.
I am so glad that you have that picture of your son! We have a picture of our son and let me tell you, people are sick of seeing me coming .... wallpaper on my phone and computer, copies, wallpaper, etc.

This will be my first plane ride too. At first I was nervous now I am ready to just be there already!
I was nervous to but feel sure that we will get there ok. All of this is brand new to me. All the news I get is from you guys and it couldn't be appreciated more
If possible would someone send out a great big thank you and hug to the person who posted these wonderful pics. They are priceless
We will get there just fine. My SR left here saying career so the way I see it, this is more than likely going to be the first of many so I might as well decide to love it . I love this group!
Your son looks amazing! I am so glad you posted the picture of him - and especially that you got to see him!

Mine will be performing this Friday for PIR. He will be carrying the cutlass. I have Mom''s in that PIR group that will be trying to snap a pic of him for me. I can't wait!

Also, glad the lesson on posting pics helped.

Mine is our only son - actually only child. Sometimes I just want to cry, I miss him so bad. Then I remember - this is making him happy. A little sadness for me is a small price to pay for his happiness!

We are all very blessed to have such wonderful and courageous children!
I still have my daughter living at home, my other son living 20 miles away but my SR leaving for GL has left a void. Today at work I broke down and cried, missing him so much. Sometimes it feels like it is getting easier and others if feels like it worse than ever. But next week, ladies, next week!!!

We are so blessed with these wonderful and courageous children.
