Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you find this discussion helpful and fun!!

I guess 07/364 got phone calls home today?? I'm sad I didn't. I'm wondering if Alex maybe called his grandparents or if he got a call. Since I see alot of you all got calls, does that mean the whole division gets calls?
Ok,i have two last names of my sons buddies in this div. but dont if i can or should say them here . One quent says is the div recruit petty officer the other is from dc and joined the navy to be a corpseman.if you didnt get a call from tuesday he says they are doing just fine! Quenton is good to go also!

Alice
sunnydg ,if you are creative (im not) please do the division flag!
I would be happy to do it. I just need to know how big, etc.
Got a letter today. Woohoo! I had to laugh when he was describing the inspections, which he said was his least favorite thing about basic training. I won't repeat what he said but suffice it to say, it's not a good idea to drink anything just before you have to stand at attention for 2-3 hours for inspection. Fortunately, it didn't happen to him, but how embarrassing for anyone! Poor guys!

He said about 25 guys in the division had to get wisdom teeth pulled. He only needed two fillings. He also said on Sundays they have 'holiday' routine from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm but with breakfast from 7-8 and lunch from 11-12, they really only have a couple hours and during that time they're supposed to shine their boots, iron their clothes, clean their racks, and write letters. Not much rest time there.
Ladies dont write your sons and ask if it was them that wet their pants ....it could cause a set back in their coming together as a div.You wouldnt want to know that your buds wrote home about it.they have to trust each other .
You're right, I shouldn't have said anything. I'm very sorry! I feel bad for the guys, but it is a good lesson. It's not good for your kidneys to hold it that long.
its not that bad for us to share what they say with each other, maybe we shouldnt share with them what We hear
hey all here is the deal...the night of the meet and greet I will delete these discussion forums so say what you like but please do not write it to your recruits and then just know I will delete it for all posterity...but the peeing the pants thing...happens all the time and the RDCs take great pride in it...because they make them hydrate hydrate hydrate...with very little potty breaks...lol
sunnydg get with lynne on what flag should be i have no idea....and thanks for doing it for us!
Lynn:

Regarding the flag, can you give me some idea what we are talking about in terms of size and I am assuming it will sit on a table, right? So, we will have to have something to set it in. I'm just guessing at all this stuff. Can you give me a few ideas on size, etc., what it should be made out of. I'm assuming it should have the numbers 364 on it and I think all the guys in 364 are Corpsman so maybe something to do with that or just what??? Anybody with ideas, let me know.
My boy is not a corpsman
