Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

hi pebbles, my daughter is a corpsman. She has been in for almost three years now and is on her second duty.

Wendy your daughter is about a week behind my son. I think he is due to graduate Oct 21 or 22nd.

My daughter left for boot Camp today :-). I think she is due to graduate in December with A school starting in January.

My daughter's PIR is 10/29/10 so we are about half way there. The first days are the hardest I think. My daughter has greatly enjoyed getting pictures. I print them off the computer with 4 on a page and she says that works great because they don't have a lot of room to store stuff. I write her at least twice a week and also try to send at least 1 card a week. She told me that has been such an encouragement to her knowing that she has the support from home. I have received 2 phone calls form her so far, both of which she got as a reward. Be sure to mail her a phone card as she will need it to call home or she will have to call collect. Also send stamps, as my daughter has tried to write to everyone and has went through 3 books of stamps in 5 weeks. I think they get 1 book when they get there but after that they have to buy them or get them mailed to them. Tell her to keep quiet and do her best and she will be fine.

Hi... My daughters PIR is 11/5. She will then go onto Corpsman Aschool. I am really excited to see her again. I am also hoping she will be located in GL.
