4.9 drill....... they were off by .1...come on! Maybe the payoff all comes in the end!! Delayed gratification..."hall of fame".....oh so worth missing a phone call! If the division does that well in the end, my son's self-esteem will be beaming and I will be thrilled!!!
My son was asking that I send him a box for all his letters when I asked the RTC on FB, they said no. Nicksmom, so my son is saying that he doesn't have enough room for all the letters either. Don't they have a postal service that has boxes or something where they can send them home. I guess they could start throwing away the letters if they are taking up to much room and affecting the score on their inspections. IDK...I don't know....
My son said that about the HOUR phone call too! I was so disappointed when I got his letter... and realized they didn't earn that phone call.

Thanks so much for sharing some details from your son's letter Nick'smom! My son doesn't give a lot of details so it's nice to hear they are turning around as a division!! Hooyah!!!!!!!

Only 1 more week to go - we can do this!!
Your welcome...

OMG...can't believe I forgot this last night.....My son said that Oct 13th is the Navy's birthday and FOX news came and filmed their division and another division saying happy birthday on camera....so he said it most likely will be airing on FOX that day...so be watching for that too!!!
OMG! I'll totally be watching Fox on the 13th! Wouldn't that be cool to see our boys?!?!?! I hope they show it in CA!!!
thats awesome!!! maybe it will be on youtube later..
This would be WAY too cool!
Oh that is soooo cool
Ahhhh! That would be so great! Thanks for the info! :)
okay ladies just some info i read and wanted to share...

Rules for Liberty- DO NOT VIOLATE or the ENTIRE division may lose liberty!

Graduating Sailors may not smoke, drive, or consume alcoholic beverages while on liberty.
Graduating Sailors must stay within a 50-mile radius of RTC.
Graduating Sailors must remain in their complete uniform while on liberty. If they are engaging in physical activity or swimming, they must be in authorized Navy issued workout gear.
Liberty expires at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 p.m. on Sunday.
No overnight liberty is authorized. Due to security checks
and transit time, please allow ample time for graduating Sailors to
walk back to their assigned ship prior to the end of liberty.
Families may not enter the base after graduation and will need to meet graduating Sailors for liberty at the main RTC gate.
Graduating Sailors departing RTC for follow-on training the same day as graduation or in a duty status will be granted limited on-base liberty.
Graduating Sailors receive an in-depth liberty briefing prior to their graduation day.
Thanks...I read this on another site, and it added that if one person was late getting back, that 'hour(s)' will be taken off EVERYONES liberty the next day.

We are just shooting for 8 oclock....that way we know we are good to go!

Its gonna be so wonderful!
chris did mention top DIV might get to stay out every night later :) which would be awesome!
How cool is this. Abby's husband and my son stood next to each other when they swore in on Aug. 23.
