DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know what you mean we have been way to busy. What does this weekend look like for you?
I'm in Caldwell.
Hi Justinsmom :) I drive through Caldwell too on my way to Tomball..lol
I'm in Bastrop, son's PIR is 10/15, Ship 12 Div 344. I have dear friends from Cameron and drive through Caldwell frequently to TAMU! WHOOP!
My son's PIR was 5/21. He is now on T-Track at Nuke School in Charleston, SC waiting for Power School to start up in November. He graduated A school on 9-3.
my son is grad and go to Charleston....
Be sure you go to the airport with him. It gives you more time with him. And from what I have read it seems to be filled with entertainment with stories from all the recruits there. Also you can give him his cell there before he leaves for Charleston.
I'm in San Antonio, my son had PIR in March, now he's in Italy. Anyone else with a loved one there?
I live in Georgetown and work in Round Rock. My sons PIR is 12-3. Just waiting for a letter or phone call!
Vita3 - you are so close to me, I live in Round Rock. Where do you work in Round Rock? My son had PIR last 11-6-09, it is an amazing ceremony. Are you going to Great Lakes for the PIR? Our son is now in C school in Dahlgren, VA. He goes to the USS Gravely in March. The ship will be stationed out of Norfolk, VA, it is a new ship, will be commissined November 20th in Wilmington, NC.
I am in Round Rock too.  My son is in boot camp, scheduled to grad on 2/11.

Texasmom...I hope you have your trip planned to go to boot camp PIR - it is a wonderful experience. We flew into Milwaukee, rented a car, and drove to Chicago. It costs a lot less.

We attend (and I work at) First Baptist Church, Round Rock. Maybe sometime we can meet.
