Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you find this discussion helpful and fun!!

Hi Maggie, So glad you got a call. I didn't get one from my son, but he would probably have called his fiancee. She hasnt called me, so I am guessing she didnt either. Hoping might hear from him soon. I did see on another post, that their liberty will end on Sunday, so we wont be able to see them till when they arrive at the airport to go to their A school. My son will be heading to Groton, Conn sub school.
This is the one in waukegan, I can look up the address on the web. Thanks for letting us know.
Are these last 3 weeks ever gonna be over????
I hope so but they are going by soooooooooooooooo slow!!!
yes it is going so slow, it feels like torture to me, I really miss my son and not able to talk to him whenever I want to.
Yes, they are extremely slow. I sometimes feel like it's never going to get here. It's kinda like Christmas when I was a kid. I couldn't wait for Christmas because it was so much fun and it was my grandmother's birthday so it was really a special day for our family.
I would love to. I don't really, I just glance a few times a day. Trying to learn as much as possible and trying to ease some of the anxiety I get. I got a letter yesterday and he talked about your son and what a great guy he is, etc. I am so happy they are close. Let's plan something soon. I've got to get to work on our flag this week-end. Any ideas??? I have bought the fabric and found a NAVY insignia at a memorabilia place. I've still got to get some letters or have it embroidered, I haven't decided which...and I need to get some fabric pens for people to write their "boy or girl's" name on.
Hi my son is on ship7 div 364 an he is going for subs. I can't wait until Nov.5 I miss him so much.
I hear ya. I think I'm losing a little bit of my mind each day. I look forward to his letters as much as he looks forward to mine. Are you going to PIR? And will you be at the meet and greet the night before.
Hi, my son is also Ship 7 Div 364 and is going for subs. Like you, can hardly wait for Nov. 5th.
Kathy, will you be at the meet and greet?
Hi sunnydg, Yes, planning to be at the meet and greet.
