FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

EVERYONE! ! ! Davon called...he is just on top of the world!!! Passed Battlestations, got his cap - HE'S A SAILOR!!!

Wants to chill with the family, eat whatever cuz foods been horrible, watch movies....he's just beside himself knowing that we're at the airport on our way to be with him...I can't wait to be with you all as well...our journey will just continue together I know. Our flights delayed, but who cares...this is ALL good, no matter what!!

got a call from hubby a few hours ago, i landed in illinois yesterday night and ended up with a sore throat. husband passed BS21, but i have a message for Kayla S., Zack tried to call you but there wasn't an answer but he passed BS21. okay ill see you all friday bright and early. GO NAVY!!!!
No call yet, we're leaving tomorrow morning; hope to hear something soon:) GO NAVY!!!!!!!
im sure everyone did great, i didnt ask my husband, i should of though, sorry guys! he was so concerned with who is coming, well actually coming and the plans for libery. he sounded horrible, tired...extremely tired. so im sure everyone did great and he said there was a long line so your Sailors will probably call bright and early tomorrow.
Thank you Melohhdee! He lost/washed my phone number. I sent it to him in a letter last week, but he must not have gotten it. He had tried calling me on his phone, but of course I left it at home yesterday =( Can't wait for tomorrow!!! Safe travels to everyone!
Still no call, I am getting concerned. We are leaving bright and early tomorrow. Hope to hear something soon.
