Hi Everyone!

I skimmed through your posts - very fun to read. This week has been consumed with work, Philadelphia, and getting ready for today's party. Wishing everyone a really great weekend! I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Lori
Lori-Ditto!! You have done so much planning, now you can enjoy!! Have a great party!!
Nancy
Well, I'm finally back in New Mexico.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the house is still, considering that I left my oldest son home. I know that his girlfriend was here and her dog. Her dog left me nice little nose prints on the patio door and windows. lol (Our dogs stay below the fence where our pool is, so they can't get to the patio door.) My son's gf's dog can jump that fence, though, the little rascal.

I guess tomorrow I will do the real cleaning around here and the laundry.

Betsy
Welcome Home Betsy, Glad you made it home safely....

Lori - Hope you had a great time at the party - cant wait to hear about it...

Hi Heidi's Mom - just startedto notices your posts, when did Heidi leave?
Thanks, Patti.

I got my book "When The Eagles Invade The Nest" today. I am going to start reading it before I go to bed. I'm afraid if I read it when Adam is still up, the waterworks will begin.

Betsy
Maybe you should wait until tomorrow to read it. get a good night sleep tonight, Im sure your exhausted, It stirred up alot of emotions for me, and the water works will begin. As I said before I finished it in a hour and half, I couldnt put it down, I also needed not one but two glasses of wine (LOL).. I found it so interesting to read about someone I dont know, going through the same emotion my self and family where going thru
I started to read mine last night. The comments on saying good-bye got to me. I am going to read more tonight.
she leaves on the 25th.
Hay Me also. does your daughter have a FaceBook?
yes she does
could you send me a message with her full name in it so i can add her.
Hi everyone. I sure enjoy reading all of your posts. Brandon pulled a fast one on me and went to San Antonio this weekend to see his friends one last time before he leaves. I had to move my dinner to Tuesday which is really better because his grandmother and uncle will be here then. Also my husband needs to go to Houston to help my middle son move to a new apartment and would you believe it has to be next weekend, when Brandon leaves. He will go Friday and come back Saturday so everything should work out for the Meps trip to San Antonio Sunday. Too much to do and not enough time.
Betsy, I am glad you got home safe and especially crying on the highway. I am pretty superstitious about making plans before I know they will happen but I will make the reservations tomorrow for the Residence Inn. I also will go buy the scarf at Old Navy tomorrow after church. I can tell Brandon is getting really nervous about leaving. It is a big step and I am glad he thought it out before he joined.
Jeanne, Wow, a son in the Marines and a daughter leaving Sunday. You can give us pointers on how to handle all of this. Thank you for the verse. I am going to put it on my fridge too. You are so right about daughters talking more than sons. But I can't really complain. He talks just not about feelings. I am going to miss him so much.
Lori, Let us know how the party went. I am sure with all your planning it was wonderful.
Let us make a time to use the chat and I will be there with yall. Have a good evening. Kathy
