If he is in Rush Div, but they still graduaditing on Dec 3rd, that would be the whole 8 weeks...Do that make any sense?...will your son then, graduate before Dec 3rd? Im confuse now.(?)
Thi is for all of you..My son send the letter on the 12th and I got it on the 16th so don't worry! you'll get it before wednesday next week but I bet You guys got it already!!! Hopping for the time to fly...
same here Maria
JessicaB-Sailor Mom: We need your help here !!! Rush Div???
A "push division" is the same as a "rush division"... gets through boot camp faster, they get "pushed up" in training by a week or two, graduating immediately after battlestations instead of doing more training. I'm not sure about the details of how it works, but some graduate in 7 weeks instead of the usual 8, or occasional 9 or 10 weeks (for those who were stuck in processing for two weeks).
If their PIR is 12/3...it won't change d/t them being a rush division. They just go through a lot of the stuff faster..sometimes aren't in processing as long. They still get all their training just at a faster pace.
Hi Marylou...my son is in Ship 9 Div 015 as well. We received our "form" letter with a few lines for him to write as well as graduation date etc. It was exciting to receive any word from him although it was kind of bittersweet. he sounded exhausted. But at least now we have his address and can write. Have you heard from your son? How is he? How are you??
