OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you find this discussion helpful and fun!!

Good. I will look forward to meeting you. I'm marking off the days now.
Look forward to meeting you also, Yes we are marking off the days to. Can hardly wait...
so I am not the only one going crazy, missing my sailor. I can hardly wait also.
Hi, no you are not the only one missing your sailor. Seems like forever since I saw my sailor. He has never been away from home except for week of camp when he was about 12 yrs old. Plus for the past year he worked where I do, so I still find myself looking for him, when I am in that dept. Hoping for a phone call again soon.
I'm gonna try and make it to meet & greet. Flying in on Thursday at noon. For sure try an meet at grad. I spend most of my day waiting for a letter or a phone call. Never knew that it would be so hard for him to leave especially when I know that this is a good thing for him to do. But I miss him unreal. I finally quite crying everyday. 3 more weeks!!!!! Hoooooray!!!!!!
I got another letter today. Sounds like he is doing pretty good so far. He has received some letters from other people. Glad that he got something to do on his down time. What little they get. I love the count down on the main page. Can't wait to see my future quartermaster.
So, if they are only able to mail on Sundays, does it take awhile for them to actually send it? My last letter is postmarked the 14th (Thursday). I normally only get my letters on Tuesdays. So to get one on a Saturday was a (nice) shock!
Mine has sent mail on Tuesday, not sure about the only mail on Sundays, he had called me on a Tuesday and sent a letter the same day.
Most divisions are now able to write on Tues, Thurs and Sundays...
So the last 2 days I have been really down the last time this happened he called the next day hoping and praying for a call I so need it!!! Miss him sooo much but 18 days to go yay
I have heard that there are actually two Anastasia Restaurants. Can someone tell us which one the meet and greet will be at?
I would imagine that Lynne would be the one to ask. I didn't know there were two.
