hi sll, yes i'm interested in any news about kids in 9-013
I got my first letter today!!! I was so excited. She said it's not so bad... some are complaining but she says she can tough it out~
That's awesome! I didn't get a letter yet, but my form letter seemed to be a day behind everyone elses's so maybe tomorrow :) I sent you a friend request but I don't think you accept it yet. Do you know how? Once you do, go to your Inbox and +compose a private message to me with your daughters last name! I want to include it in the next letter I write to my daughter so they can find each other and know that their moms have connected on N4M! Once we are mutual friends I can give you my daughters information as well!
Have you been getting letters yet?
Got a letter! My niece is not happy, but she is dealing. She is having some sort of knee problem and may end up going to medical and getting set back. We'll see.
Got my first letter from my daughter too. She says BC is HELL, they work REALLY HARD. :-D Like your niece, my daughter also has been having problems with her knee and is probably going to medical and get set back. She said she went to a church service Sunday just so she could hear someone preach at her instead of yell at her. She does like her RDC's a lot and thinks they are really cool. Also told me that she is designated P.O. to instruct the group on using weapons-9 mm pistols. Maybe because she has experience with firearms? She was on the high school FFA trap shooting team here. She also says they are not allowed any sugar or coffee, and she is missing both!
I got my first letter today!!! She sounded very upbeat and positive. She thinks Div 013 RDC's are awesome! Female petty officer looks like J-Lo, male petty office is "smokin' hot", and the chief is crazy (in a good way) and looks like Mr. Clean lol!
Your daughter sounds like a Hoot!!!! I got a good laugh at her descriptions of her officers! She sure is a "glass half full" kind of a woman!!!! I got my daughter's 2nd letter and she is hanging in there but got sick and is in with a very chatty group of girls(surprise, surprise!) I guess they have been doing a lot of IT and have not earned phone privileges yet. She said they are beginning to get their acts together. She hasn't gotten any mail yet either, I hope soon!
Yay.... My daughter liked her RDC too. She said they share sleeping quarters with 014 and some of the girls over there are not nice.
Oh....I forgot! She expected that they would be allowed to start receiving their mail on Monday, since she wrote the letter last Sunday that would be last Mondayand hopefully are finally getting the letters we write to them!!
song258 and shasta - I'll keep your kids in my thoughts and hope that their knee issues don't hold them back!
what are some of the local hotels that families like when going to the base area?? lfgr7
