OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope this discussion is both helpful and fun!!

hope everyone is having a blessed day. Please continue to pray for my wife and the Division. my wife and the division to have all the strength, by God's grace, to accomplish all their duties. In return, i'll pray for you all. Positive vibes and God Bless
would anyone happen to know when the division's BS21 is?
10/31
has anyone gotten a phone call recently?
nope! It's hard to read the main board where everyone got phone calls! I don't think I want to know when BS are... Gas chamber has me upset enough...
Awww....Kacey.....but BattleStations is the FINAL TEST! They become sailors the morning they finish (capping ceremony) and you will get a great I'm a Sailor phone call. It really would be nice if someone's recruit gives a date. If so, please post that on the main 11/5 board and I will add it to the BattleStations schedule discussion. Thanks!
Just got phone call from my Son :-) Needed more security info. Doing good. BS21 Halloween, firefighting today, gas chamber next week, getting letters, no phone calls untill after BS21 and not Grad and Go.
It's on the schedule now. Thanks!

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting, man can this day go any slower:(
Well it will be our turn to get the IM A SAILOR calls, this time tomorrow :))
Yep, for sure... I bet our SR's feel this way too! This has been a long day, and tomorrow will be a long one!
Just ever so slightly going crazy right now. Fighting the flu and getting my classroom ready for me to miss a couple of days with my students to go see MY BABY (all the while his sister keeps reminding me that Saturday is her 16th birthday and we better not forget it in all of the excitement about PIR)
